Can't believe no one else has recognized them yet. And there's nowhere on the engine I can find for them.

Tha'ts pretty cool because the gasket kit is supposed to be for a n/a 2.5 dohc but apparently they share several gaskets. I was glad to see I could use almost all of the gaskets in the kit. And I have a backup pair of dohc 2.5 headgaskets from the kit if anyone needs them.

I have several different Subaru engines here. I have EJ20Gs, an EJ20H, and a few EJ20Ks.

Mine was made after September of 1996 so it is a V3 and has an EJ20K, but that car has never come apart...

Well if it ever has to, at least you have backup shorblocks, right? lol And you can get the ej25d gasket kit that will work with the g or k valvecovers ftw

Well today I found out the gaskets didn't come in the shipment today so the best she could tell me is that they should be on the next shipment but they're not sure when that would be coming. She told me I could cancel my request by the 15th and I replied that would me plenty of time for me to figure out what to do. Keirna, if you have a better solution that would help me get those gaskets in a reasonable amount of time I'd appreciate it. Heck I'll even send you a jdm set of four new ej20g spark hole gaskets, lol.

On another note, this clutch is a push type but states its for the wrx.?

http://www.exedyusa.com/oe/15804

So.... using that clutch and a wrx flywheel wouldn't work? Or are there two different "push" types for our transmissions?

Sorry somehow I missed this post. I have to head to Subaru parts today to pick up some stuff I ordered. What is the price you are willing to pay no more than because I don't want to make two trip. Just in case that PN# doesn't work I can take my STI's title in so we should be good. Subaru has been closed for the last week because of Golden Week...

I'm seriously debating buying a good set of pistons and rods and even race bearings. Surely it will prevent the rods from breaking but maybe the weight difference of the new pistons and rods will be an issue. I'm also going to focus on the oil pump setup and make SURE there are no leaks anywhere on the inlet side that would allow air to enter and cause issues. I might even spring for the mack daddy oil pump.

This is on the way
http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory...CategoryID=120
along with an exedy flywheel, clutch kit, and a digital boost/af gauge. Downpipe will be next. Still no word from rallispec (or k) on the gaskets...

BTW, I got set to the US on emergency business and didn't/ don't have time to go down there. I am also sure they price will be much more expensive than Rallispecs.

That's cool, guess I'll be depending on Rallispec. If they push it back another few weeks I'll be going cometic. Here's one of my heads, just them back from the shop. They took 3 thousandths off.

Bump for the torque specs of the large bolts that hold the engine block halves together. I already have the head bolt torque/sequence. Every diagram I have says to refer to another, just for the large ones.
