I don't like the GOLD on my FXT, so I was thinking to change the look to black.

Is plasti dip just in flat black and in a spray can?My gloss blacked painted wheels are chipping. Thinking about re doing in spring with plasti dip or grimspeed gold.

Yeah I def wanna see some meets going on this year. I made a nepa scranton area thread on tri state tuners. When the weather breaks we are gonna try the shoppes at montage. Everyone has to be on real good behavior since the cops like to hangout up there. One of the members on tst has a spot up there where we are allowed to have meets. Aslong as no one messes it up it will be a nice spot for meets in my opinion

I own stock in plastidip right now. I use it for EVERYTHING . Redid my battery tray with it. Did my grill with it. Both A pillars. Dash. A drinking table to waterproof it. Hella relay blew so put in a new one and didn't have electric tape so 10 coats of plastidip did the trick

I always trust in home depot, except they are less conveniently located. They always have black in stock. I'm starting to experiment with spray truck bed liner since it's more durable though.

bj the trick with the spray on bed liner is making sure you sand the surface good or it will flake off easy. 180-220 grit is usually the best to use.

I'll have to keep that in mind. So far I only used a super light coat on a table with a rough surface anyways so it basically absorbed into it. I don't understand how but the best place plastidip held up was on my grille. Which is outside of the vehicle. in the elements . Had to redo my a pillars and ash a few times already.

i usually do the first coat light and then 2-3 more good coats. the more coats and heavier they are makes it more textured.

So nice out. Got my tonsils out and am on codein, so couldn't go cruise around, but went in the woods and shot off my Glock 22 that had to be rebuilt at the factory for the past month and the 1911. Gorgeous day in the woods. Why I thought shooting guns was a better idea when I'm not even supposed to be driving, I do not know
