Default HR: I have a fender roller tool. Anybody know how to use it?

I borrowed a fender roller tool from one of my friends but he's out to sea so I can't get help from him. anybody know how to use this thing? I would love to have someone who has experience to give it a try. I've never used this thing before so I thought I'd ask around instead of me risking the chance of cracking the paint. let me know. I only need my rears done.

It's probably safer to jack your whole car up even though you're only working on a small portion at the top of the fenders. Just a thought.

Check out the picture in the link someone posted above.

0. Have read all warning and instructions that comes with the tool.
0.5. Be sure to wear all proper eye, ear, hands, head, groin and any other protections.
1. Mount the tool as shown, beginning with the roller touching the inner top of the fender.
2. Heat up your fender areas being rolled.
2. SLOWLY swing the entire tool by the box arm, left to right, to cover as much of the fender as it will touch, careful not to pull the tool out of the fender.
3. Readjust the length of the box arm so that it'll reach the fender area that is to the left and right of the previously rolled fender area until you have rolled all of the fender areas you want.
4. Adjust the box arm angle reference to the hub assembly so that the box arm is closer towards you/more perpendicular to the ground. Be careful not to make your incremental adjustments too large.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 until desired fender roll outcome is achieved.

All of the above is assuming your car is lifted above the ground and once you starts to turn the tool, your car will not fall off the jacks. Oh and leave your parking brakes off unless you want to do it the hard way.

6. Remove the tool in the reverse steps the assembly instructions. Like bolting/unbolting your wheel in case you haven't figure it out yet.

Prey that your fenders won't crack.

its pertty straight forward. Bolt on...turn/roll...unbolt. Just make sure its rolling the inside and not flaring out the fender, lol.

yeah. I was looking around for some volks. but nobody had them in stock and I couldn't find a set I wanted. So I talked to Joseph from subydude.com and he gave me a crazy deal for some 18x8.5 SVNS in hyper black with tires and a set of hella supertone horns that I couldn't pass up. so I took it.

its easier to contact them through AIM. dasubydude. go with bronze and we could trade in the near future if i get sick of the hyper black. from when I ordered 2 weeks ago they told me they had plenty of bronze with polished lip. hyper black, but no bronze.
