I'm actually quite looking forward to see what your car does in the 1/4 as I know it is very fast in the 1/8th! Hope you get your car running soon!

I absolutely loved watching this video!! Way to rep the left lane at Island (my personal favorite). That driving was spot on. Must be nice to trap in 4th while still in the power band, haha. I want a 5 speed. 2850!! You weigh 600 lbs lighter than my STi, I am jealous, lol. The vf22 has been able to trap 116-117mph in the past. Obviously this isnt driving related to your time, I just think with your skill you should look up my tuner. And go 11.40's, haha!!

Great job,

Mikey

Dude, with your driveline and weight, you should run the stickiest/lightest tire you can find that fits your wheel setup. I wouldn't even worry about something breaking.

Awesome run, added! That thing sounds great too! I hope my 207 runs that good. Also, thanks for posting everything up correctly and making it easy to copy/paste. Hope to see you out at Island sometime soon.

Just to add Roly to that list...

Roly/[email protected]/Salinas Speedway PR/04STi/VF39/Stock257/Stock6MT/3100/C16

More info:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1698127

Unfortunately he's no longer running the stock turbo (He has a DOM 3 now). The new goal is to run mid 10's with the DOM 3 (Best so far 10.76).

Awesome, glad to add Roly to the list! Is the 3100lb. weight a guess, is that with Roly in the car? Thanks for posting and using the easy to copy/paste format.

Yes, it is a guess based on other 04s with those typical weigth reduction mods and with him inside (hes pretty skinny ). Lets just say +/- 50 pounds.

The cool thing is that he may give it another shot with the proper tires and clutch!

Added! Man that is a great run at that weight, especially if the 3300 is without you in it. Since you already have pretty much all bolt-ons covered, any plans for a tune with higher octane? C16? Q16? Also, thanks for posting in the easy to copy/paste format.

We got some good numbers out of the car, but not all on the same run, unfortunately. The car trapped a best of 106 last night at Bandimere's 5800ft. elevation. Best ET was 13.4 with boost cut from half track onward. Best 60ft was 1.76. There's definitely a 12 in it, but it just didn't all come together on the same run.

Stock JDM 2.0L
Stock VF30
Stock top mount
Stock 440s
Stock ECU (no map tuning.)
1 step Colder plugs
TBE
50% ethanol
Oxytane

The best race was against a stock-ish EVO at the end of the night. He bogged less on launch and I had to reel him in. He won by .12, but I had 8mph on the top end reeling him in. It was a fun night of initial shakedown testing. The owner and I both learned some things, and good planning and patience paid off.

(Engrish grapping edit...)

With my stock VF30 on pump gas APS TB with Cat I was able to pull 12.51@108. All stock ECU but I did have a FMIC.
