I suppose RPF1s might seem boring, but they are such a superior wheel. Light, strong, great looking, affordable. You can spend more and get a lot less. I love these wheels. I've been running RPF1s for over 10 years on two different cars.

Despite rubber stems being uglier, they are much safer. Twice I've seen metal valve stems break from contact with cones at an autocross. The tire instantly deflated and both times the wheel was ruined. Hard to believe a cone would break a metal valve stem, but I've seen it. That means anything on the road is a potential hazard to your metal valve stems. Since those events, I only use rubber ones. It's uglier, but I'd rather not have to replace a wheel if a metal one fails.

Completely agree. It's either $1250 for 18x9.5 +38 RPF1s or $1000 for a set of Rotas with the same wheel specs. Plus RPF1s are a timeless design.

Love my RPF1s for all of these reasons! I shed a tear when i see them in them sitting in the basement. I need to pick up some new rubber and head out to the track!

I second that.

Going to Wynwood Miami and I promise to take some epic car/graffiti pictures with a point and shoot. Until then here's a picture taken with a potato.

8mm. The wheels are 17x9 +35. Requires extended studs also. And I didn't put any spacers in the rear.
