Default Fuzz's 02 wrx wagon

So my 02 sedan's engine died and between some shops in Ohio ether wanted more money then what they usually charge because I planned to prepurchase everything for a swap (which is complete bs to do) or other shops wouldn't do it cuz of its age or even use a shop with no rep or bad rep all together.

So decided to try and find a new wrx. After a few months of searching I found this gem. Spent 24 hours and $600 to get it from Virginia

Has JDM v7 front end, v7 sti seats, sti shifter bezel, abw fender flares, some ST XTA coilovers (never herd of them) and more already done. Which is everything I've wanted to do to my sedan, But now it's even better it's a wagon which is one of my favorite cars in high school.

The bad needed a transmission, exhaust, the fender flares to be finished, replace skirts and spoiler and some tlc.

Car is atm at a performance shop close by getting the transmission outta my sedan put into it. I'll be using my sedan as a donor for any parts that's not in it or I've installed into the sedan

Once transmission is in I'll be dropping her off with my audio shop to have all my audio installed.

By end of summer I hope to have her complete, sanded primed and painted WRB.

Looks like a fun project!

Don't forget to do all the stuff people hate to do like fix all the leaks, replace rubber hoses and vacuum lines, etc. These cars are getting ancient and virtually everything on them could use to be replaced at this point.

Good luck with it!

Luckily dude works at a shop n put it on a rack when i went looking at it. Only leak was power steering on the steering rack. I plan to go through and replace the lines since i bought everything for the sedan n it died. I even have a new turbo im gonna swap over after I have a shop go through it to make sure it's not junk from when the sedan died

Thanks alot. I'm pretty stoked to be able to drive it finally when the exhaust gets put on. The real fun happens soon. Getting the bodywork done and getting it painted by end of summer. It's gonna be WRB with a ton of metallic.

Pulled off the door panels and the old dynamat is just oozing. So ordered enough 170mil noico sound deadening. Finally got the fabric samples in mail the one with the foam on back looks like it be good enough to use and matches pretty good to sti color I'll get photos. Getting ready to pull apart the sedan for parts and to sell off.

As of right now tho with the exhaust on and transmission in it runs great. I think has a little boost leak. No cel tho. ABS is on tho.

Ordered a wideband so I can fill the last pod hole in my a Piller pod. This weekend I'll be busy with putting the sound deadening in, installing my aftermarket antenna. Replacing the door speakers. Installing my sti door panels. Maybe install my sti carpet but depends if I have to buy more sound deadening. Need to find a new rear hatch cover and 2 other interior plastic parts to replace my seriously scratched and damaged ones.
