Great game. Tons of missed opportunities but a win is all that matters.
Another shut out for Tuukka. I hope he/we keep it up to shut all the Thomas-ites up. Wednesday LETS GO BS!!!

Yeah, tough loss. I give the Bruins tons of credit for tying the game multiple times but damn that one hurt.

Oh god, I wake up to meme's being posted about the Bruins after one loss. Such a great mentality of fans haha. God do I hope we wipe the floor with them Saturday. I can't complain, except for Seguin's lack of play this far into the playoffs, but damn, that was one hell of a game! |

It was certainly a great game but you could see the whole game the Bruins just were not in it. Tukka was a little slow in goal, sloppy puck management, passes that were to long or to short just a bad overall game and still managed to bring it to OT. I am personally pulling for Jagr to score a goal. He is close that's for sure. Lets hope the game 3 Bruins show up to game 5.

I've been raggin' on Seguin all post season but I have to say, he has been playing better. Not great, but better. He still needs to grow a pair, put on some muscle and SCORE A ****ING GOAL.

@BigShoes I disagree for the most part. He's definitely had a few minutes here or there, but for the most part has been a non-factor. The last game he played on Wednesday, other than the horrible pass he gave up, he played well. To be quite honest though, I don't think he'll ever turn into the player a lot of us want/are looking for, and are used to. He's a finesse type of guy where a lot of us are looking for the gritty/grinding type that gets to the boards for the bucks. Seguin doesn't like going to those areas, although he's done it a few times in the playoffs.
All in all, for where he was picked, I just expect more out of him than he's currently given, especially in a playoff season. I am hoping he steps it up though as I'd like to see him achieve what I think he's capable of. |

Off topic, is it me or is Nasioc (other than great Nesic) going downhill fast. Not sure why I just noticed it but it goes in order: -OP posts what people consider dumb question -Troll comes in and regurgitates stupid answer and has to add mean comment -Someone tries to help as best as they can -Someone comes in and calls helpful person an idiot, but offers no counter advice -OP never gets an answer, or is told contact someone else. **Isn't that what forums are for? To try and get answers lol? That's my rant for the day me thinks. |

Simple answer. Get used to it.
I think it's gotten worse but there's nothing you can do but grow some thick skin and or don't give in to the bait of said trollers. |

Oh, it's not even just necessarily directed at me (although I've dealt with it once or twice) but it's just ridiculous altogether. Back on topic, guess the Bruins just left for Chicago. Their win/lose record in the playoffs still scares the hell out of me when they play at home. They were something like 9/1 or 9/2 before the bruins won one there. |

Exactly, BEFORE they played us. Look at what happened to the Penguins. We can win any type of game, any speed of game and will take it to them tomorrow night. We don't have the star powered one or two player type of team. We can win with any one of our guys pulling through for us on any line at any time. I love it. It's a true TEAM.

Agree, but they are still 9/3 with us winning..or 10/3. Whatever, you get the picture .
I do agree though that we have a team where any few players can step up and make a game changing difference, but Chicago also has a lot of guys like that too. That's one of the reasons this series is so intriguing is that I think both team's compositions are really similar. |

How are you guys feeling about tonight's match? The Bruins just haven't looked the same since game 3 and it has me a little worried. Stats show that when their backs are against the wall, the Bruins play better, but I would have rather had them up by a game, especially when the cup will be in the building tonight.

I was at another bar for the last game and it was quiet. They sucked.
I'm worried about Bergeron. Even if he does play, how will he be? I hate this stuff. Why can't we be up!?! We could still win the cup, look at the 2011 season, winning in game 7. But still! Scary. |

I have no doubt we're ABLE to win the cup, but with the lack of effort we've seen in the past 2 games, it's looking very dim. I haven't been paying much attention to the Bergeron situation other than it was reported he had a spleen injury, but I was told by friends (not reliable as far as official goes) that he wasn't looking like a good chance for game 6. Only thing that eases my mind is Toews took a huge shot by Boychuck the other night so hopefully he either a.) doesn't play today, or b.) is very limited. Not sure what's going on with the Chara line but it just has not played well. We haven't been playing BRUINS hockey. We're letting them dominate behind our net, and passing lanes, and winning rebounds off of Rask. I was also out to watch game 5 and there was nothing short of disbelief and disappointment in the lack of effort for the Bruins. I did think 3rd period went a lot better than the flat 1st and 2nd. |

The Bergeron injury was reported as a spleen injury was but pure speculation. Bruins are deeming it as a 'body' injury and it's up in the air as of now.
I predict he plays with the season and cup on the line. Toews doesn't mean half as much to his team as Bergeron does to ours. He's had a few assists but really hasn't played well. We've seen this type of stuff from the Bruins all season, and in fact for the past few years. They start the year off great, best team in the league, leading many statistics and then shy away and go on losing streaks. Up and down roller coaster. Heck, they pretty muched stunk up the joint at the end of the regular season then hit a real hot streak after the game 7 win in the first round. Hopefully this was a very small losing streak and poor effort and they turn back on for the last two games. |

2.) I'm not sure I would go as far as to say Toews doesn't mean half as much. Toews is a highly skilled player, who just hasn't been AS much of a factor as he's been previously, but regardless, he's an elite player and we should expect him to really carry some weight during a could be final game. He's proven it before, so he's not someone I want to count out. Last edited by brandonk_5; 06-24-2013 at 02:12 PM. Reason: Bad sperring is bad |

I agree, I meant more as in this series.
I can't stress enough how I hope this is not over and we have a game 7. |
