Swift spec-r
-1.5 camber front using stock bolts
-2.0 camber rear using whiteline lcas
0 toe all around.

No rubbing with stock tires on the 18x9.5 +38

My only complaint is the tram lining, wondering if I reduce the rear camber to -1.5 if that will make it less of an issue. Even so the tram lining isnt terrible just noticeable vs stock wheels and suspension.

Spent an insane amount of time going though this entire thread but couldn't find any pictures of a wrb wrx with 18x8.5 +40 rpf1 in silver (only one I found was wrb wrx with 17" rpf1). Ive determined the size will work without any issue but I would love to see some pictures of a 15+ wrx with at least the same size rpf1 on stock suspension before I go ahead and order.

After owning my 2015 WRX for 3 years, I finally decided to drop it and ordered some RCE Yellows with adjustable rear SPC LCA's. Will be running 18x9.5 +40 with 265/35 and I will be rolling the rear fenders. Any of you guys with a similar setup experience any rubbing even with the fenders rolled? From what I'm seeing most people run between -1.5 to -2.0 of camber in the rear.

My wheels are 18X10+40 CE28SLs with 265/35/18 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. Camber is set at -2.2 in the front and -2.0 in the back. The LCAs are Super Pros set to the max of -2.0 degrees. I would recommend getting some Whiteline rear LCAs as they are good quality, offer a lot of adjustment, and they are pretty cheap.

The car is lowered on Tein Flex As around 1.5 inches all around. Zero rubbing.

Why is no one running 18x10.5 or wider wheels? According to this thread and all the setups I've seen they could fit. I just got a base wrx and was hoping to see some crazy 10.5 or 11" setups pushing the limits like you'd see on some Evo X's with 275 or 285 or even 295 tires. I haven't seen a single one like that in here. If anyone is running that, please chime in!

You havent seen that setup, because it wouldnt work on stock fenders so easily. In order for it to somewhat work you would need around a +40 offset and that will more than likely have inside clearance issues hitting your suspension. Any lower offset to clear that would poke a ton and require you to run stretched tires.

You cannot compare this car to an EVO X. Since their fender / suspension setup is different than this chassis. You can run 18x10.5 +20 with 275s on an EVO X with a roll in the rear and some camber. But that setup just doesnt work on these cars, that easily.

This car is running 18x10.5 +30. But look closely. He is running super stretched tires and masssive camber to get them to fit. I mean, it works. If you like that look. But that isnt for everyone.

Why run that when you can run something like this. 18x10.0 +39 with 255 tires. Only needs a slight roll in the rear.

Ahh, yeah, I have to agree with you! I really appreciate the explanation, had no idea evo x had more room for wheels. As much as I want to say I like that look in the first pic (looks sick stance-wise), I am just over the super-poke with a heavy stretch and absolutely hate any camber over -1 or so. 18x10 seems like the way to go with some 265 tires and also opens up way more options for rims. I am just a bit disgusted with my stock 17's and wanted to overcompensate when I get new wheels. I honestly do not see how they could release this car with those wheels, it's mind-boggling to me.

^^^ 18x10 with 265 may still rub your rear bumper. I know for a fact that 17x10 + 38 with 275/40 rubs the bumper. Not rear fender (trimmed and pulled)...the rear bumper. 17x9 +45 275/40 works with trim and slight pull. So, I am having a hard time imagining that you can make a 10 fit with a 265 and not rub fender or bumper.

9, or 9.5 if you really need it, is plenty for anything you plan on doing with your car.

Has anyone seen a photo (or could post one) of a WRB 2015+ WRX/STI with the 08-14' style gold BBS wheels? I have a photo of a non gold set, but I'm curious what the gold set would look like.

Anyone running the Cadillac Brembo swap up front with 18x9.5 +38? Wanted to see if theres a drastic difference with the 2mm spacer needed up front for the Brembo kit.

Hey guys,
Looking into getting dark bronze avid-1 av-32 in a 18x9.5 +30 offset sitting on nitto nt555g2 in a 245/40/18. Anyone know how they would fit on stock suspension for now. Mostly concerned with the poke and rubbing. Looked through the forums and some say it will fit and some say it wont. Also will the fenders need to be rolled?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

Ill be honest. I am running 18x9.5 +38
-1.5 camber front
-2.0 camber rear
Stock tires slightly stretched.

Even with this setup if I draw a line from the fender straight down there is at least 1/4-1/2 of poke.

It bothers me and if I did it again I would have gone with something closer to 18x9 +45.

Oh yea, also on swift springs.

Finally had some nice weather in Minneapolis this weekend, so I installed the new summer setup. Sorry for the quality, my phone is dying a slow death and taking my image quality with it.

Konig Ultraform 18x9 +38
Hankook Ventus v12 evo2 245/40
Swift Spec-R springs
-1.5F, -2.5R (will be adding LCA to reduce rear camber)

Going to poke out pretty far. Awesome color, but have you thought about the nt03 in 18x9.5 +40 in red? Might be a good alternative.

edit: or you could go 18x8.5 +35 with the Hypergram in red.
