05 wrx ecu swap to 05 ecutek problem?
i heard VIN is stored in 05 ECUs.
any problem with this? what happens to imobilizer and is there any other problems doing this?

I'm not exactly sure what the question is. I swapped ECUs on my 05 WRX without any problem. However, I'm not sure if the VIN and other data stored in the ECU is 'correct' now for my car. Either way, the car will run fine and you can perform your tuning on the new ECU. BTW, the 05 WRX does not have the immobilizer.
