Default Retrieving codes 2007 Impreza wagon basic

Hi all, we just bought a 2007 Impreza wagon. The cel is in and Iím having the hardest time trying to figure out how to pulll codes without a scanner. Is that even a possibility on this model? Any help is appreciated thanks

Without a scanner? I thought that was obd-0/obd-1 specific? Anyhow, your local parts store should be able to pull codes for you free of charge

Buy an elm327. They are as cheap as $5 anymore.

Im not sure if the parts store can read off of OBD1, you should be able to call around to local shops and see if anyone will diagnose the issue for free
