Default Why its not good to be 16 and have a WRX

Well for the second day in a row, as im pulling out of the school parking lot.. its a big long driveway to a parking lot in the back... some cool kids decide to throw launch bags with empty cans and sandwhiches at my car. Its just rediculious, all ive gotten is crap about my car because the stupid honda kids think they can beat it, now this! Im not bringing my car to school ne more because i have crap on my window and a scratch on my wing and front fender, lovely. Sorry, i just needed to vent, ne one else have stuff thrown at them??

If they throw stuff at your car off campus or on? It's not worth it to get into a fight if they are doing this in the school parking lot, but if its somewhere else, all bets are off....

Well....you ARE 16...and shouldn't be driving a car like that.

Honestly. And I'd say that to an 18 yr old too. GRANTED...SOME 18 yr olds MAY be mature enough to handle a car like that...but at 16. No one could convince me otherwise.

Leave the keys w/ dad.

race them and prove they cant beat it.

OR

get someone involved because thats destruction of property

OR

go to your local hunting supply store/sporting goods store and look for deer scent or bear scent (its actually urine form female deer/bear) and spray some in the vents right in front of their windshield and in thru thr grill of their car(s).

The smell is permanent and WILL make people throw up. You cant wash it out, steam it out...all you can do is BURN it out. Their vehicles will be worthless, none of their girlfriends will have anything to do with their rides and even better....they'll never be able to sell them or trade them in for any good amt of money. Total pwnage for about $5 and you dont even have to stop walking to spray in the right spots.

Better yet if they leave their windows rolled down.....

(and yes this is coming from the guy who threatened to kill another NASIOC member if I caught him keying a car. 1) this issue warrants retribution 2)so i ran out of lithium a week ago. Ooops.)

Damn.... That would do it. I do agree however you should do something about it. Leaving the car home would start. Again though....your 16. Your driving the car to school to impress people. If I was in high school and someone came driving to school with a WRX that mommy/daddy bought for them...as much as I LOOOOOVE subbies....I'd F it up too.

Your honestly asking for it at that age. And those kids, as much as you may not like them, know your showing off. And they don't like that.

If you can take these kids, then call them out one at a time off school grounds and F THEM up. If you know you can't....then well....leave the car with pops.

i think that is a little harsh to say to someone after trash has been thrown at their car. - it's not his fault that the other kids are being pricks.

I would defenitely confront these *****es about it and pound some face in. When people do something to another persons car for no reason it pisses me off so much, people have no right to do that kind of crap. And don't give him **** about owning a WRX at 16, I own a STi at 18, so ****ing what.

Some people are more mature than others. As long as you aren't revving or anything thats stupid to get attention that isnt warranted...now that I'm reading my post again...damn I'm really violent : /

Read my above edit. I'm sure you can remember being in HS. You were COOL if you had a car that wasn't over 5 years old.

Not an 2004 WRX. Weather or not he is intending on showing off, he is. And he should be aware of that fact. At 16, no kid should be driving period. Let alone a high performance vehicle like a WRX. I read WAAAAY TOO many kids dying in stupid auto accidents all the time, and the government keeps talking about raising the legal limit to get your license, but they never go through with it.

No offense to the O.P...but....your too young.

seriously dude if youre gonna strike back...consider my post. Nobody gets physically hurt (the best way to hurt someone is in the wallet anyways, not the face) and at the same time the revenge is longer lasting than a black eye and assault charge.

Ok well i wasnt showing off at all. I was leaving the parking lot at like 20 mph. It wasnt the honda kids throwing stuff at me, they allready shut there mouths, it was just other cool kids. I did jam my brakes and get outta the car, had a little conversation and i think they knew it wasnt funny after i was swearing and screaming like crazy.

And its a wierd situation, the school is off a main road, the parking lot and all our fields ( soccer, baseball tennis, football) are across the road. Only juniors park down there and seniors park at the school in the other parking lot. I might have to go visit the principal tomarrow, see if theyll give me a spot up there.

And i got the car because i payed for half of it, and now pay monthly so its really mine, and my parents know im responcable. IE, i dont drink or smoke, so they know im not stupid. And i dont drive stupid either.

Your a couple days or weeks from being ILLEGAL to drive. What has changed in their driving history in that amount of time to be able to handle a car like this?

I know it's not his fault...I blame his parents. That's poor decision making on their part.

Would you give your son or daughter a loaded gun? I know it's not the same, and the battle could go to you could do the same with a 79 bug.

But...

Enough of my hijacking. We now return you to your regularly schedule thread, already in progress.

Just PLLLLEEEEASE be safe.

Seriously. Get a couple road years under your belt. Turn 18, take it to the track...get a feel for it in a controlled environment.

I don't want to see another post in a couple months from a youngun that's dead or killed someone.
