So it's been awhile since Jeff has had his car cleaned up and he had the typical swirls all over, scratches here and there and very dirty windows.

-Wheels/tires were sprayed down with Sonax wheel cleaner and cleaned with wheel brushes.
-Washed and rinse
-Clayed paint and windows with uber blue clay and Meg's quick detailer
-Dried
-Taped up
-2 step paint correction 1z Extra then followed up with 1z polish
-Sealed with 1z Glanz Wax
-Windows cleaned with invisible glass
-Tires dressed with Swissvax Pneu
-Wheels waxed with Swissvax autobahn

Before:

Sonax getting to work..

Putting Jeff to work

Did you use a buffer or all by hand? looks great. WRB pops real nice when all buffed out.

Haha that was from the windows alone he said they were never done.

As for the wheels I just sprayed on the Sonax wait 3-4 mins (the stuff did most of the work) then touched up with wheel kit brushes from detailers domain.

Just did this on Tuesday! +1 for Sonax! That stuff cuts through anything

But I'm getting a CF lip tomorrow (Friday), and I was just wondering if there is a certain way you need to clean it. Your input it much appreciated!

Hmm. I never thought to claybar the windows but now that I think about it, it makes sense to do so. Thanks for the insight!

Do you detail on the side? I sent you a PM, by the way...

Yup works great! I put in a order for some Brown Royal wheel cleaner from the youtube videos it cuts through the dust, grime etc.. just like the sonax but it costs 6.95 for a 32oz bottle vs nearly 20 bucks for small sonax bottle. I will write a review when I get it.

Is the lip raw carbon, polished, cleared?

Looking good Nick. Is this your first customer car?

For future more impressive before/afters use sunlight to capture some of the swirls in pictures and afters with crystal clear paint. Takes some practice to do.

It definetly does take some practice to get better angles. Your camera equipment looks fancier than mine, which means your before afters will be more impressive to look at.

I would treat it just like a cc paint surface.
