Back when I worked at discount tire years ago a part came in on her donut. The donut was mounted backwards, and not ever on the center of the hub. Idk how she made it alive.

Lol, but seriously that's brutal.

Drums, and it didn't have to. The "bowl" was facing outward.

The worst I see is the oil field trucks we service those guys beat the **** out of those things

Then you get the person that
a) doesn't care to fix a car when it makes strange noise
b)can't afford to fix said noises so they keep driving

With oil fields popping up all over now, you'll have an endless supply of picture material! I used to head up to UNC once in a while to see a friend, and there were always some gems up there. I attribute this to college girls jamming out to Beiber and his voice sounding just like broken ish. At least you guys dont have to deal with Commerce City, that place is a rolling disaster

I've been on fire at least 3 or 4 times and caught 1 car on fire too. That is the fun of working on cars...

The story? sure. I was using an oxy-acetylene torch to cut off some rusty exhaust hangers and the guy in the stall next to me was cleaning up the aftermath of an exploded wheel cylinder and went through a lot of brake cleaner. I was getting the torch out from the back when he was using the brake cleaner, so I didn't the car was covered in it. I was wearing a dark faceshield, so I didn't see it go up, but I heard the ruckus and stopped. No one was hurt and we got it out before damage was done, but it was good for an adrenaline rush.

just yesterday.
cust installed his own running boards on his chevy truck, ever since he had a clunk when turning. noise was from body mounts, which is where his nifty running boards are attached. he over tightened the bolts, pulling the captured nut out of the body and into the mount. now theres nothing holding his body to his frame.
