Default SCCA Divisional in Fort Worth August 17-19

Hey, I just signed up for this event today and wanted to see if anyone else was coming out. Yes I'm going to get smoked, but that's ok, it'll be fun.

Well, you save money on entry fees at local events, so if you were planning on doing those you could recover your money there. Also Bridgestone has a $100 rebate on sets of RE-01R's for SCCA members. I guess it just boils down to whether or not you plan on doing some autocrosses other than the divisional.

^^ +1. If you plan on doing more then just this autocross, it is worth the cost to become an SCCA member.

I just signed up. Hopefully, I will have my camber plates installed and ready to go by event time. Sweet.

Cool! I'm eager to see how you like those camber plates because I'm looking at the same ones (RCE).

To compete in the divisional you have to be an SCCA member and I'm pretty sure you have to pre-register too. There's plenty of other autocrosses coming up too. Counting this weekend, there are 3 between now the divisional. Then the season continues until mid-november with about two events per month (counting only ER and SCCA events).

Me too. I am debating on whether to install them myself. I will look into the tools needed to do it. Whether I do or not, I will take it to Squidz for either the install [if I do not do it myself] and an alignment.

I picked up a set of wheels with some V700s still mounted on them. I can't think of a better way to put them out of their misery. For some reason, the previous owner decided to put a 205 width on a 7.5" wheel.
