Post Anyone know where I can get a thick piece of plexi?

I'm in need of a thick piece of lexan/plexi although I would prefer the latter. 2" thick by 36-48" long by 14" wide would be ideal. Any ideas??

Thanks,
Fitz

2" thick - That's going to be hella $$$ expensive. It's WAY past Home Depot - I'd call a glass store - they usually can get a hold of that stuff. - Kris

There is a company called Select Products out there that may have the plexi you need. Anyone that works with car audio should be able to get the number for you. What the heck do you need so thick a piece of plexi for?

I see a plexi panel in a sub box in your future.... but 2" thick... DAMN! 2" Lexan can stop like a 50 caliber bullet or something. The 1/4" stuff can stop a 22 shell.

The dumbass will probally try to make the whole thing out of plexi hehe i will warn you now mark like i said before plexi is nice and all but your gonna be working on it forever and your gonna screw up a whole truck load of plexi so b careful your better off just fiberglassing and building everthing contouring the install hey you know me thats my 2 cents. Not like ive ever done this kinda stuff or anything never ever
