I wish they made one for my 98. I have yet to find ANY engine management that is plug and play

Default Omioteks Supercharger Build

I read this like a novel only to be left with a cliffhanger. Awesome write up. How much do you think you can daily this set up? I'm looking at doing the same as I've detected a rod knock after rebuilding the top end twice.

I intend to drive the crap out of it. I dont see why i wouldnt be able to. Ive chosen certain components and done certain things with daily driveability in mind. I dont complain about a tighter ride for better handling. Theres always give and take with that stuff.

It would be kind of a shame if this project was abandoned... but geez, it's been two full years (almost to the day) since an update.

Do not worry it is not abandoned.

I switched jobs which has me working 50 hours a week there and i started to resume side work which has literally eaten up every ounce of my time. Not to mention i am working on my house for the wife.

Life has been busy busy busy needless to say.

Overall the car has been sitting but i have done little bits here and there. Decided to switch power steering pumps to an STI Pump and that posed some issues with lines and the way its mounted. I had to remake my idler bracket as well as modify the pump bracket.

Also i decided to swap out AWIC intercoolers to something smaller because the 3.5" inlets was causing clearance issues.

Decided to finish the oil cooler setup using a different core then my original ebay one and decided to get a new radiator as well vs using the stock one.

While it doesnt run the car is on the ground and i had to move it to my house since my dad sold his second building. Come summer time i will resume work on it and finish it up. me not having time to work on it has given me the time to save up more money and finish this car the way I WANT vs skimping out on things i originally wanted for the sake of getting it running.

DEFINITELY NOT ABANDONED

p.s. if someone has a way to imbed photos please share..... havent found a decent way to do it yet. and thanks to photobucket all the photos are gone.

Awesome!! Iím glad your still working on it.

For the pictures, I had to switch my build pictures to Imgur. It works good with no issues.
