Default 04 Wrx Project

well hello all im new to this site and the subaru game in general, picked up my first subaru a couple weeks ago,got it off copart and am in the process of fixing it up.i wasnt planning on doing any engine work when i bought the car i was hoping the engine would be mechanically sound and all i would have to do is bodywork.
needless to say when the car was in an accident timing on the passenger side exhaust cam was about half a turn off. so i bought a new belt and set the timing hoping for the best, the car now runs but ticks bad on that one side of the head,so im sure some valves are bent,so now im in the process of ripping out the engine and replacing the valves.
heres some pics of the car when i got it

Goodluck, hopefully only the valves are damaged and the pistons are still ok!

And get that AEM intake off there

Hey man, props to you for giving that wrx a rebirth. Sure you'll be happy with it when it's all said n done. see if you can just trade someone straight across for an oem intake.
