great post, very thorough and helpful. i'm almost afraid to ask what you're transporting in there...

if fluids build up in the footwells of the backseat, just fire a shot through the floor at point blank to drain =]

Obviously dead hookers. Isn't that what everyone bought their Subarus for? Getting to the remote areas where dead bodies go to disappear.

See how it's basically a line drawing? I can't cut out letters from fiberglass if I want it to be accurate, so I tried using heavy gauge paper clips as a test.

Your console's REALLY clean considering the age, don't feel bad bud

I'm actually not much of a baseball fan, but to wrap a sphere in any kind of material, I thought that the baseball stitch would be best. Basically I wanted a heavy (1+ lb) shift knob, but steel ones get cold during the winter and scalding hot during the summer.

Andrew, I got my Alcantara from Carbon6Composites, about 20% cheaper than JPM's prices.

Redid my airbag cover:

Better view of console:

Your console looks amazing! And I love that you didn't go too nuts with the alcantara like some do.

Thank you for the compliment! I'm trying to source an 08+ STI center console and mount an iTouch where the SI drive is.

To do:
STI Airbag cover
STI alcantara front seats

What looks better in person? Your shift boot or nut sacks?! I am a bit worried about you!
