Exclamation Moderators: We need a sticky part # thread!

I’ve noticed with a number of the other “Subaru Model” forums, that each includes a Part-Number thread. A place for all to go and dump their part numbers for various OEM replacement/upgrade items. It helps for other interested members to go and search the thread itself before posting a request for a particular part number. I recommend the following format:

Part Description:
Power antenna replacement mast (rod nut assembly)

Model:
1998 2.5 GT Sedan (BD)

OEM Part Number:
86323AC070

Notes/Verification:
Part works great, easy to replace, make sure you don’t loose the tiny screws which hold the motor unit together, also may want to use some additional grease to help with the install.

Source:
$39 bucks from Subaruparts.com

Here's a thought...make me a mod, and I'll sticky it.

Like I said, someone make me a mod, and I'll maintain the Legacy forum to the best of my ability. I'm on NASIOC literally about 9 hours a day.

well if we are going by amount of time on here then I am definitely a front running canidate

but to keep this on topic, I agree this is a good idea like head gasket PN's for 98 guys, baja turbo hood and such for BE/BH.

Someone shoot a PM to known mod, or to whoever created the "threads of interest" or whatever FAQ at the top of the Leg forum.

Good idea tho!

Anybody even know one of the Legacy moderators? I think we need another who's more active.

97legacygt definitely has the lowest member number out of all of us and has that going for him…

PHATsuby is definitely on here the most too…

I say we vote for who has the coolest Legacy and make them a mod, specifically BD Legacy’s…

Lightbulb

I've said many times before that the moderation in this forum is lacking.

--Unless you actually report a thread- then they'll attend to things. But even then, they barely moderate- they just slice n' dice or lock stuff. There's almost no real involvement.

We should get a mod who is actually active on this forum. The existing sticky at the top is completely outdated and somewhat useless- it hasn't been updated in years.

I'm a mod on the other forum

But I have a high member #, and that seems to mean a lot.

I nominate PHATsuby for moderatorship.

Someone shoot Nick a PM asking him to do something about the Legacy section, and he'll probably respond.

as for part numbers, anthony, you should put it up on SLi too

I'll actually nominate PHATsuby for (-1) vote. He can't be a mod till his car gets finished. No need for him to have to look after the forum too!

If it's 1975, then you are not the oldest. I'm older than you, and Jonathan is older than me.

im not going to sticky a thread with one part number and a lot of useless chatter.

Make a real part number thread and then I will sticky it.

I will be glad to be a Mod if they would like or want someone else I definitely am on here constantly, and I read it constantly and basically every thread. Which I know others do too but hopefully I can help offer technical expertise as well and it will be good to see an actively involved mod

Thanks for the support guys!

Nomination seconded. Regardless of whether or not there already is a mod here.

Edit: +1 for Ben too.

also, I think Anthony would be a good mod, member numbers aside He is a mature individual, with a sweet car and a similar hardcore legacy attitude to myself
