THE SIMPSONS or FAMILY GUY?
Dont get me wrong, I enjoy the Family Guy but isn't the humor and majority of the show ripped off the Simpsons?

The simpsons is a great show. family guy is a great show. i gave my vote to family guy though becaus lately I have been laughing a lot harder at the family guy than the simpsons. the simpsons just havent been up to par for the last season or so. but i sense this new seaon is going to be great. but for now i am going with family guy.

FG uses a lot of the storylines and humor from Simpsons, but it manages to be a lot funnier. I chuckle now and then when I watch Simps, but I never crack up like I do when I watch FG.

If I had to choose, I would be a tough call. However, since I've always been a simpsons fan, and a newb family guy fan, the Family guy still seems fresh to me...
go figure. AO |

Family Guy was only on three seasons, and pound for pound they packed more funny into each episode that the Simpsons have. That being said, I think if you stretched FG over thirteen seasons it'd probably flub an episode or ten too.
I chose FG, but this isn't a fair comparison; I could just as well say the Simpsons' best three seasons (whatever those might be) are just as funny as FG's. |

Both shows are funny. My vote goes to Family guy, because they seem to push the envelope on whats offensive and still got away with being on Fox.
The Simpsons is probably one of the best shows of all time. Even with some dull episodes, theres too many classic episodes and characters that you can't not know. My roommate dressed up as Duffman last night for halloween, and when walking around our downtown area there must have been at least 100 drunk college kids who shouted "DUFFMAN! OH YEAH!"' from across the street. However I can't find myself watching a Family guy episode without rolling on the floor the whole time. Some stuff is just so random and crazy it's great. For example when Peter is sentenced to death and the Koolaid guy breaks through the wall, thats flat out priceless. Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! OH YEAHHHHH!!!! |

Between the two shows I have a hard time. Honestly the Family Guy did have some episodes that in my mind just bombed! Episodes that I did not laugh at. I like them both for reasons all their own. I can't play favorites between the two. -Ryan ::Goes to search for cartoon pron site:: |
