Finally got my 30 dollar ebay installed. Went with the hybrid set up and solved the "gas smell" problem by using a 3/4"ID hose connector for the Idle air control valve. And a longer hose lol. But my project is almost done. Just have to install the struts and lowering springs.

Patrick. Are u using a after market ems for the swap? That is going to be a beast of a car when it is done.

I'm about to try and build my own ddin dash kit for the dual climate control setup. I'll post a few more times, and then make a how to thread along the way. Set course for balls deep in Subaru entertainment engineering!

A shop did it, a lot of work. Circuit board needs cutting and modification.

It's a 1994 LS and it's a first gen with the face lift. Also, thanks!

I did alittle bit of a dance after my dynamic advance multiplier finally settled on 1.00 after my new tune. Whew. Couple nervous days.

How complicated was this? Splicing a few wires together? I'm going to be doing my independant fogs soon as well.

Yes, Vipec V88. Haven't made much progress on the car in the past couple weeks, need to get out in the garage this weekend and get to work!

Drove down to Chicago 2 weeks ago and bought a hood, hood scoop, and grille off of a SS. The scoop was white so I plasti-dipped it black and the grille's paint was faded so I plast-dipped that black as well. Also changed my license plate light bulbs out, both the LED ones I had burnt out.

I got some goodies from the junk yard ( a 98 legacy front bumper and a outback rear sway bar) installed the bar on my lunch break at work ( we gots a lift ) and all I've noticed so far is no loss of speed going around corners and the car under steers a lot less. Smoother feel in driving I should say. It was worth the money. Now the bumper has a small crack but is good otherwise.

Btw are there any major differences between the 96 bumper beam and the 98? I'm thinking it should just swap over. I will get a new grill later .

Love to see a build thread on this in hopes of not spending 400$ on one from Japan!

There is a difference in the beam, cover, and grill. The 98-99 L, 96-99 Outback, and 97-99 GT all have the "tall grill." Too make it all fit properly you will need a beam and grill.
