The R-12D is the wrong one. That's the one I bought at first and it didn't fit. I had to return it for the 12 E

No, it is 12", but the R-12D wiper isn't compatible with our rear wiper arm.

So the R-12 E is the correct one?

Really? That's odd. I could swear that R-12D was the first one I ordered from Amazon and it didn't connect to the wiper arm. I ended up returning it for the R-12E after doing research and finding out the "E" was the correct one for the Impreza. I'll have to double check that.

Ok, I'm an idiot. Just went back and checked my Amazon history and the R-12D was the second one I ordered as the replacement because the "E" didn't fit. Doh... I apologize for the misinformation.

sgoldste01 is right about the D being the correct wiper. The E wiper definitely won't fit. Sorry for any confusion I caused.

You gotta see when it rains.

In other news, the Hawiian Breeze air freshener is pretty legit..

lol

But no, serious question here.

Are there any options for reasonably priced essentially skid plates for our cars? I would figure someone generally makes one for the Crosstrek. I know I have at least seen "covers" for other Subaru's, but just kinda thought about this. I don't intend on taking my wagon through any backwoods excursions, but especially after dropping the car somewhat, these PA roads can be unforgiving. Not only for bumpers and lips, but the chassis. On my Cobalt SS, I smacked the resonator off a dip in the road real bad before. lol Not trying to bust my differential or anything.

There goes a good question of interest. Thank you! Yes when it rains we all need good wiper blades for visibility for safety reasons, but let's not waste pages and pages and pages talking about such simple pathetic thing.

As for the protection, a quick search revealed a couple options for under engine protection for Crosstreks. Around $200. I would have to assume this would bolt onto our Imprezas easily. However, I haven't been able to dig into any other kinds of skid plates.. For the diff or anything. Any ideas?

That link may work. If not, just Google search "Crosstrek skid plate".

So just a heads up for anyone wondering, the radio reception with the Perrin 2" shorty antenna is abysmal. Sure, it looks better than the stock antenna, but if your like me and only have standard radio to listen to, its not worth it. I went from about a couple dozen stations to 2 or 3. Will probably have it in the FS section soon.

There actually is. The company is Visual Garage IIRC. They are expensive though and I can't imagine reception would be any better than the Perrin antenna.
