Default wrecked my 02 Rex =[

yesterday in woodbridge i slipped on some water at about 12 MPH when my turbo decided to engage on some slick water spot before i shifted into 2nd... I was only going about 12 MPH and needless to say im VERY PISSED...

my car slid out and by the time i pushed in the clutch and put on the brakes i already hit a ford expedition parked on the side of the road...
(where townhouses are around here you park next to road...)
anyways his wheels were turned towards the curb from when he parked and i ended up pushing him up onto the curb... other than that i dinged his left front fender and scratched his chrome bumper a bit and then his tire deflated cuz i knocked it off beed or w.e .... needless to say his metal bumper ate my fiberglass rex for lunch =[
my car lost its front left headlight and messed up the hood and the front bumper as well as the fender....
I will post pics in a few minutes here... that ill take from my camera fone...

theres only one good thing about it all... my front tire and rim were untouched... which would have been bad if they got messed up... I have a full size spare but they dont make the rims nemore cuz konig discontinued them...

Do you guys think that maybe the insurance company would let me buy a CF hood and aftermkaret bumper if i pay for the difference in price if there is any at all ?
and if i wanted to do that how would i go about asking about that ?

I hate when my turbo engages at 12mph! It must have a carbon fiber impeller.

PS: You can buy whatever you want for your car. The insurance company just owes to indemnify you.

Um, is this like a really late parody?

The 12mph thing is a joke right? right?

Where are the pictures?

Did you hit a house or not?

They don't control what you buy, just how much they give you.

Maybe some of the water got up inside the hoodscoop. That can be a problem.

You mean there was someone else that did this too. Hmmm, do you think there could be something wrong with Subaru turbos that make them spool when they get water in them.

Serious or not -

Don't buy a CF hood unless you can garage your car and you live where it doesn't get below freezing. Or park it in the sun.

It's not a question of if it will crack, turn yellow, and warp. It's a question of when it will crack, turn yellow, and warp.
