You know that new unpainted shuttle they got on Monday? Got sideswiped in a hit and run already . It happened last night right before I was going to get on. I had to wait an extra hour for the cop to do paperwork and stuff .

EDIT: Added bonus: we almost got hit head on by some dumbass on her phone coming down Farwell the wrong way. That driver was having a rough night .

Wow. That has to be quite a bit of work. But after a quick google search, those kits are worth more than a bugeye wrx so it's well worth it if he has the skills!

I have seen a black NSX around since a few years ago (like 6 or 7) that DID have a supercharger on it. It isn't the same one, is it?

91 or 93? You pick. You guys have to realize they are just stickers that really don't mean much. I used to work at a gas station.

It would seem that is what the picture says. Also there was a shell station on College that said 93 at one pump and 91 at the others.

I like the sticker at the bottom that says this pump might contain 10% ethanol.

The fact is that there is quite a difference between 91 and 93 octane as far as knock prevention is concerned. I think the people at the gas station originally sold either 93 or 91 and switched to the other grade without changing the stickers and just threw the new sticker on under it.

I get that, for people like us it is annoying, for joe schmo and his Z3 it probably doesn't matter much.

Me too... and from talking to the inspectors that look at those pumps it looks like they're in violation. Your only supposed to have one octane rating per pump, unless the pump is capable of dispensing more then one kind of gas. That is a mult-nozzle set up, so there should only have been one sticker. The octane rating difference is huge for those whos cars require it.

It could cause problems even for that Z3... BMW enignes are pretty fickle about the gas they use, too.

It's 91. That sticker looks newer. And it seems like BPs are switching to 91.

Yes for tuning there is a difference between 91 and 93 octane.

Just because there is a 93 sticker on the pump does not guarantee you are getting 93 octane gas. It's just a sticker.

I know the govt. regularly tests the accuracy of the pumps at gas stations, I do not believe they test the octane - or at least they didn't years ago when I worked at a gas station.

High octane gas is also less stable then lower octane gas. If the premium gas has been sitting in the tanks for a long time it's probably not as good as it was when it was delivered.

If you tune your car to the bleeding edge of 93 octane.....good luck.

I have a few update pics on the project since I haven't shared in a while. Forged Eagle H-beams FTW!

And I got these via UPS the other day. They are puuuurrrrtyyyy. Inverted coilovers FTMFW!!

On that note, my existing struts and Tanabe GF210 spring setup is for sale. $200 takes them. They are alot stiffer than any other spring out there. They are springs for a 2005 STi, but the correct tophats are installed to bolt into any 5x100 hub (WRX) car. Car rides very flat with them. My catted 3" DP is still for sale as well. Jason showed some interest in that. I need this stuff gone so I can either buy some StarSpecs for autox season or buy some darton sleeves for my block and make an indestructible 2.0. Text me at 284-0504 if you are interested in either of these items!
