Had a guy in a sedan (hyundai?) pace and wave at me that I didn't recognize...so either he liked my car, or thought I was Sam....

now that the timing belt is in, the car feels a lot smoother and my engine-braking rattle is gone finally. i also feel a little difference with the lighter crank pulley, but that may just be the butt dyno.

I had a magnaflow on my first evo. But i had stock cats. It was good. No complaints. Not overly loud though.

Well, I was gonna try to find the 3M headlight restoration kit, which has a spray to coat the lights after polishing them, but I haven't found it locally yet. Yeah, I know...order it on line...

Well, your engine is "in time" now. No slop, and right on the marks...I hope!

That kit does a great job of polishing the headlights, but I thought I saw another 3M kit in a magazine that also had a spray coating that you applied after refinishing the plastic. I can tell you from personal experience that unless the lens is coated with something, it will fog up again after a few months because there's nothing to protect the plastic from the sun's UV rays. Maybe I just imagined I saw that other kit, but I'll keep looking online to see if I can find that other kit.

Subscribing. I have not been on this forum in over 4 years I don't have a Subaru, but I am from the Charlottesville area, and still live around here. I have 4 modified vehicles but most people know me for my maximas. I have a 98 maxima that is viper blue, very modified, and I have a gray 92 with white Kosei K-1's. I am just gettin gon this thread to keep up with local meets.

*Also I see those two WRX wagons (dark gray and red) that were mentioned a few pages ago a few times every week heading north on 29.

Hey Carson,

Good to see you found your way over here. I won't be there this week, but should be there more going forward. Hard when you dont have an even remotely sporty car to drive to the meet (either the volvo suv or the ford taurus...hmmm)....the nissan is in danville at my parents' place since they live so near to VIR...
