Default Aftermarket brake master cylinder and booster
Hi guys,
looking for an upgrade for my MC and booster to the STI. It can be any of the 04-07 versions but I found that there are two OEM part numbers 26401AC191 - the most cars and 26401FA030. OEM runs around $150.
I found on RockAuto.com a few aftermarket versions:
Centric 13047023 $85, Raybestos MC390467 $89, Wagner MC134434/F134434 $103, Cardone (black cover) 132873 $69

Does anyone have experience with them?

Similar question for power brake booster. OEM is 26402FE400 - most cars or 26402FE420. There are reman by CARDONE 532778. Not sure I'll get the right STI one or a WRX one. I heard there is a very small diff between the two.

So what is your experience with the aftermarket parts? Should I stick with OEM? Used OEM parts are in poor conditions these days and I don't want to have to rebuild a MC.
