I'm honestly surprised by the number of people who are worried about inlet temps. As long as you're below like 180ish on E85 and 150ish on pump gas (assuming forged internals) it's fine. Don't worry about it and just keep going. Even above that it's fine for short stints.

Do you remember that I used bagged ice for YEARS in running XP, with never a complaint. I was always aware of the potential issue though, and at regional/ national events I would dump hot water into a bin under the car via a dump valve, then walk it away from grid a ways to dispose of it. It was nice having IAT's in the 90F range on boost. The funny part was in grid when people would notice condensation on my A2W intercooler and it was cold to the touch. I should have had it insulated, but never got around to it. Will do in the next iteration. Also, for full disclosure, I did run a radiator in the loop with a fan on it to pull a lot of the heat out. At some small events I never added any ice. The tune was very important, and very good.
