Why do you think I’m pushing out my delivery date? Any clue? Do you put any at all thought into what you say on here? One, I want to take delivery of my last 6MT ICE performance car on my birthday next year which is a milestone birthday. Two, it gives lead time to see if industry experts are correct that the chip shortages will start going away at the end of 2023. Three, it gives lead time on the cars being on the lots, a full year. IE a full calendar year of car deliveries. That way those in a hurry rushing to the stealers with money falling out of their pockets can have at it.

And my past comments that you are hanging onto like a buster who took a selfie on a cliff and fell off, clinging by his fingers, were non-covid times. I heard your same rhetoric when I bought my RS. You can’t, you won’t. Yeah while everyone else was paying 5-10k adm, I bought for $500 under invoice. I even posted the sales sheet online. Until these chip shortages are a thing of the past, or mostly rectified, MSRP is the current invoice pricing in today’s market. Simple economics, supply and demand. With this car, in these times, well waiting too long could see your chances of ownership go completely away. It’s the one caveat I’ve already reconciled with.

And you’re being ignorant anyhow. I’m not buying a first year model, and even if I was, the engine and drivetrain are not first year model. The GRY has been out, drivetrain and powertrain well documented to boot. Sounds like jealousy, hatred, or whatever. I don’t care. Off to the ignore list you go for being a tool.

I was the popular guy in high school. Think Ferris Bueller. My comments stem to the car market. It’s a given fact enthusiast models have dwindled since say the 90’s. I mean every publication and journalist acknowledges this because it’s a known truth. That doesn’t mean enthusiasts need to like it. Seeing something you have a passion for die a slow death. Well I’m not going to go knocking on doors nor knocking people upside their heads but I can comment about it on an enthusiast automobile forum, and will.

High school, I don’t think you got that point. I was popular as well, invited to all the parties whether jocks, wavers, head bangers, name it because I thought for myself and was friends with everyone. My point that was clique run. Majority rule. F all that. And more importantly I’m not going to herd it just because they do. I’ll continue to think for myself and do my own thing and do not care what others are doing unless it directly affects me, like say in the car market. Examples: Did you see that one commercial during the SuperBowl? No I didn’t. I don’t watch commercials, ever. Don’t listen to them either. Did you see that big film!!!!! No, I’ll watch it later. I don’t much care about whatever new fast food meal is out there they are peddling. Then there is social media applications. All these people wasting all their time on that garbage to the point of addiction. And we all have to deal with it, whether you like or not. You have to deal with on the road too as the smartphone and social media addict regularly pilots a 3000+ pound vehicle down a highway while surfing on a 6” computer screen. It’s crazy and I WILL NOT normalize it.

Look at all the above as proof. Someone said they are putting down a deposit on a car they want to see on the market. You know voting with their wallet for stuff they want to see available to us. And look at the fall out, the heckling, because it’s a little bit of outside the box thinking. This is what I’m referring to, a little out of box thinking makes heads explode because people are either jealous, can’t think outside the box, or just so square, well you know the story of the chicken with the different colored feather? Put a bunch of chickens in a coop. If there is one chicken with a few different colored feathers on its back, just a few, the other chickens will come peck at those feathers because they are different, until they kill the f’in thing. Herd mentality. People should start thinking for themselves, start living their own lives and quit worrying or being concerned with high school like shat of fitting into this or that clique. DIY. Go your own way, and F everybody else. I have never lived the square cracker life and never will. No way, too little time on the planet to be concerned with it, the consumer holidays (that’s all any of them are), dumb traditions that in reality are absolutely meaningless. That applies to vehicles too. If everyone is buying X well I guarantee I won’t be. There are mainstream things I do like, but they are few. I listen to those other chickens pecking every time I’m suited up out in the country on my bikes. I hear it at the gas station filling up the supercharged ski. “I want your life”. Dummy you could be living that life if you wanted to. Cut out the Taco Bell runs, the restaurants and the bars and you could afford anything I have. You may likely make more $ than me. It’s the choice and way you live your life. You can read it as hatred or ridicule. In reality I feel sorry for these people. I wish they could think for themselves, and go their own way. Their life and all of our lives would be better for it. But I grew up with part of my life without the internet, where it was no problem to be alternative and do cool things. The herd mentality was always there but since the internet expansion with Windows 95, it’s on the best steroids ever produced on par with a nuclear bomb. You want an example of hard nosed, hard edged tough people? Look at the WWII generation and what they did after the war. Those folks were not soft. Look at current developments. People can’t handle anything whether it be a pandemic, a potential war, nothing. A final example for one simpleton here. I read all the time about the whiners online wanting the gubmint to forgive their student debt loans. Idiots to me. My friend’s kid is graduating from the University of Maui in 2 months. Have to fly back and I was just there surfing. I go often because it costs me almost nothing. No hookups I couldn’t afford to do like this. I graduated with 17k in school debt as I worked my way through the entire thing, big time work hours. Well this kid is mid 20’s and his student loan debt is less than mine 20 years later, to the day. He’s an alternative guy, thinks for himself, doesn’t watch commercials nor any commercial content and goes his own way. Lives in Maui, surfs everyday, works everyday, and less debt than I finished with. So we’re out here. Others just can’t stand it and take out their own personal frustrations at us like the chickens. So be it. I am not deterred.

Now let’s get back to discussing the GRC. It’s coming soon.
