Default WTT: '06 Front seats w/ height adjustable head restraint FOR '06 WRX sport seats

Figured it's worth a shot as the standard sport seats on the regular '06 WRX/WRX wagon (with integrated headrest) aren't the most comfortable for everyone.

I have an '06 WRX TR with the height adjustable head restraint. Purchased my car brand new on 1/28/06 and they're in perfect condition. As I autoX a lot, I'm looking to change my front seats to the sport buckets for running a 5-point racing harness.

Here's a pic of my front seats:

Let me know if you're interested through PM.

FYI, these are the seats I'm looking to trade mine for:

Stock Impreza & TR seats have the whiplash protection headrests while the sport buckets do not (as the headrest is integrated into the seatback)

The seats you have now are better. You can still run harnesses with your current seats. The seats you want are fairly wide and I see alot of people complain that they don't hold you in very well. I have a set in all black and they were pretty bad for autocross. That's why I swapped in a set of Sparco Torinos.

Thanks. The regular WRX seats have that upper lateral support which the standard seats with the whiplash protection headrests lack. I've sat in the standard seats and they don't seem too wide for my lanky 6' 1" 170lb frame.

I'll see if anyone is interested in a straight up swap - figured there might be someone with a regular '06 WRX wagon who might be more concerned about safety than having sport bucket seats. If not, I'll just run a harness with my current seats as you suggested.
