Overheating and Hesitation issues
Hello, I have a 2016 WRX Sti ~45k miles (~20k on built block). A month or so ago I was headed to vegas in 120 degree whether in stop and go traffic. I noticed my temp started to rise with the AC on. Not wanting to stop or get stuck on the side of the road I decided to suck it up and turn off the AC and deal with the heat. Once back to cruising speeds (85-95ish) The care was constantly around 220-230. Anyways, being as I love my AC so I decided to purchase a koyorad radiator and figured that would take care of the issue. I take another trip the week after the install up to big bear, and while heading up the mountain with a few friends in the car no AC on the car would like''' hesitate. I would be in 3rd (or any gear with higher RPMs) and when I would go for a WOT pull to get around some slower people the car felt like there was someone that would hit the brakes. It was inconsistent and varied in how hard the car would hesitate, but it's enough to worry me. Fast forward to now... Nope, still gets stupid hot super fast and still has this hesitation issue that only happens when the car is "tired" It only appears to happen when its hot outside, been driving it a while, and when going up hills. The cooling system was properly burped and there are zero leaks. I dropped my car off at the place who built the short block and has been my tuner for some time to see if they could figure out what it's overheating... AND the hesitation issue... but of course, it wouldn't do it for them. I get no CELs, I see no coolant in the oil, or visa versa, I see no smoke to indicate ringland failure (shouldn't anyways with forged pistons). I am at a loss as to what this could be. Anyone have similar experience and able to find that cause? Thoughts would be much appreciated. Heres the list of mods if it helps.

Could be spark plugs getting worn. Are the plugs 20K miles old, and have you had the 20G all 20K miles as well? Happened to me shortly after I got my 20G, although for me it was during winter when air density is higher, so easier to get spark blowout on worn plugs.

What oil are you running? I know it sounds weird to think it could be a oil problem but on my 06 it did the same thing because i was running a 10w40 in the Florida heat and switched over to 5w30 and it never did it again.
