Tribeca Owners with DVD Entertainment Systems and Ipods, I have a question for you. If you are using the Aux input to plug your Ipod in, and your rear passengers choose to watch a DVD with the included headphones, can they watch and hear the movie without problems while you use the auxillary channel on the stereo to play the Ipod through the car speakers at the same time?

When I get mine, I plan to use my Ipod like crazy, especially on long car trips. When my kids are in the car, I want to be able to tune them into a movie so I can peacefully enjoy the Ipod at the same time. Is this possible simultaneously, or is it one or the other at a time?

Not a big info base here, even for other Subaru models. Edmunds is actually showing more action. Try their forums.

My understanding is you can't have both although I don't have DVD in my Tribeca. Think of AUX in as the video input on your TV. There will be only one source of Audo and Video showup on your TV. And there is only one input on Tribeca's audio deck for rear entertainment system.

where is this aux input

Between the second and third row of seats in the driver's side next to the power outlet.
