Why isn't my post counting going up?!

I've replied to a bunch of threads and my post count is still zero!

Why?

* Registered users of the site do not see these ads.

Your post count is only updated every Tuesday - and on that day, posts count double!

did you enable cookies? Try deleting your cache....make sure you have jvm installed.

Posts in OT only count on Tuesday and Thursday. Weird, huh?

Once, you get 25 though in OT, you get to use a signature if you want. I've got mine disabled right now as do most Otters.

When did they change that, I thought Thursdays were double.

Nevermind, -=C=- explained it. Tuesday is double and thursday's posts count too.

I think that's only if your member number ends in an odd number. Remember when Nick posted a sticky about it a few months back?

One of the perks of having 1000 or more posts. Fewer than that and there's a 30 second "mod review" delay before your replies are posted.

Nick had to change it due to all the WAPCE threads getting double post counts.

I was taking a break from OT for a few months to try and actually get some work done here. Must have missed the sticky.

I'm going to give you a serious reply.

Your posts are not accumulating because Nick (the board master) judges the posts on quality, not quantity. If you're posting stuff that doesn't add value to the board, then the post won't count.

Try making more substantive, thoughtful posts.
