i think your best bet is to get the 02/03 **** in and then finalize it. dont want to half ass it now then have problems swapping stuff with the engine all installed.

Oh, and it is 3". My neighbors and my calipers can attest to that fact.
Then I'll assume they refunded me $100 because I can't read a set of cailpers, and my TXS rfl is a one off.

I can only verify my Tomioka TS downpipe I rec'd just over two months ago.

Seems that maybe EDO isn't sure themselves on these pipes. I plan on calling them when they have the new pipes in hand-get some hard facts. I will be buying one if it is at least 2.75" and usdm length.

On another topic - when I did my avcs pinning at the ecu I noticed that there was an "autospray" pin in the b84 connector.
Does anyone know if this pin can be used to trigger the IC sprayer?
I understand the jdm uses a different "autospray" switch.

Has anyone figured out if this pin could wired to the IC spray and then be set to spray under given parameters?
Living in AZ we need every bit of cooling we can get.

When I had my merge done by Brian at iWire, I asked if he could enable the IC Autospray. He was able to wire it in (but said it was a real pain in the ass and would charge a lot more for it next time). It works and sprays based on a variety of parameters from the ECU and goes through the 12L Spec C Tank very quickly.

For me up here in Canada, its not really needed because we dont get that hot but its nice to have the feature.

Huh, so if a wiring expert says it was a pain in the ass.....a weekend warrior like myself would probably be in over my head.

Any idea on what was done? I'm pretty good with wiring but not a guru by any means.

I honestly dont have any idea what was done. The reason that I sent it away to get merged is that Im terrible with wiring. I sent it away on a tuesday, it was there by wednesday, he sent it back thursday morning and I had it back here by the following Monday.

okay ppl with and without twin scroll setups. any turbo. in third gear starting at 2500 rpms what kinda of rpm are you hitting full spool of 19/20 psi? i have the v8 TS vf37 and i dont think that i am hitting 20 psi target as early as i should.

she is all sealed up to 20 psi for the boost leak test. running the v8 sti tmic. running a three port from grimmspeed as well. only thing i can think of is that the 3" DP to 2.5" exh is killing it after it starts to build....

would if be dangerous to turn the crank gear by hand on one these imported motors knowing they might have sat for 3 or more years. I know the oil pump is ran off the timing belt i just dont want to damage this amazing motor. plus i checked to see if there was oil in the motor and it was full

White - I'm hitting full boost, 20 psi, at 3400 - on my vf34. It hit full boost at 3000 rpms on one of my pulls but he dialed it up in order to smooth things out. (tuner talk I don't fully understand)

Your experience with spool times is the main reason I haven't gone twinscroll yet - I'm afraid I'd be disappointed if I didnt make some significant gains.

I agree that your catted downpipe is probably part of the problem...
When are you hitting full boost?

Did that ROM I sent you help you out? I would think they would be similar tunes...?

its catless. its a very old APS system that has a shorty DP, reduces to 2.5" or whatever at the end of the shorty. i plan to move the reducer farther back and putting about a foot more of 3" in plus a cutout to the side so i will spool when i really want to go. unless someone else has a better idea.

Oh, I missed that - I wouldn't think that would be that much of a restriction.

I wish I knew more about tuning to help you out -

Have you sent your tune to someone else to have a look?

Is your avcs working?

btw, I've noticed in logs that the avcs seems to engage only after driving over 50 km/h, stopping completely with the car in neutral. ( after a fresh ecu reflash )

I've seen this with a few 207's...

Can you explain this better, are you saying that your AVCS is only working above 31mph?

unless someone pulled a switch-a-roo with USDM STi heads, they are wrong.

I use the BKR7EIX in my V7 as well. The first time I started the motor, it seemed a bit rough, tapping the gas a few times gave me popping backfires. I double checked the swap and discovered the connect to one of the coils came loose, possibly during the motor installation. Afterwards, the car idles smooth and no backfires, not even a bit of boxer shake to speak of. With the car idling, my wife even said: "Is the car even on? Aw, I'm gonna miss the shake"

no its after a fresh reflash, its either that or getting out of rough correction mod. i noticed it too. i figured it was because the car wasnt warmed up since it needs to be so warm for it to work i guess. all my logs include avcs advance coloumns so i know avcs is working. i guess it might be time to leave the tunign up to the experts and see how they get it to spool so damn fast!
