Default Clarion Head unit

I'm brand new on here and just picked up my first car for myself. It's an '05 Subaru Impreza WRX and I'm very pleased with it. So, I got myself a Clarion Double Din CX501. I now need a wiring harness or some other type of wire/cord that can connect to the subaru wiring and also to the clarion head unit. I don't want to cut any wires, just plug something into the car and the head unit as an in between piece. I haven't come across anything like this, but can't imagine my only option would be to sever the factory wiring. Any ideas?

Question 2012 Impreza Sport aftermarket XM

There's been a lot of great info on getting into the dash and console- Thanks! Seeking recommendations on antenna - are there any options to replace the factory roof antenna with one that also serves satellite radio? I desparately want to avoid having the XM antenna wire running on the roof back to the gate channel.

Hi, I'm looking for a battery upgrade for my 1480W RMS system. Don't want to use two batteries. Also don't want a Kinetik or a yellow top. Diehard Platinum, maybe? Also, has anyone had experience with upgrading their alternator? I can find only a couple (e.g. DC) that are direct bolt-ons. So, what would be your choice (batt + alt) to upgrade the electrical on a 2011 WRX (sedan)?

Required info (below)
Source unit: Clarion NX501
Front door speakers: Focal P165 V15 component speakers
Back door speakers: Focal PC 165 6-1/2" Performance Series 2-Way coaxial car speakers
Sub: JL Audio HO210G-W3v3 (dual 10")
Amps:
(1) JL Audio JX1000/1D Monoblock
(2) Focal FPP 4100 (4 ch)
Wiring:
Interconnects: Signature Wirez RCASBK-17
Power wire: 4GA OFC
Big 3 done with 1/0 welding cable (OFC)
Battery: stock

This is great--I'm a newbie to this site and this helps quite a bit. Now I just need a few approved posts before I can start a thread. For now, I'll post here in hopes someone can help. I have been scouring the internets for wire information for my 2010 Tribeca with the Harman Kardon stereo. I'm looking to tap into the rear speakers to do a line-level into the amp. I can't find anything on the wire colors for this, nor the information on the amp that goes to the subwoofer, which may help in determining the best way to hook up my aftermarket amp. Anyone help on this? I did pull the door panels off and see that the speaker colors are: left side red w/green stripe and red w/black stripe; right side black w/red stripe and blue with red stripe. Any ideas on polarity? I had an 08 outback and the subaruoutback.org forum was really helpful, hoping I can get that here too! My apologies if I should post somewhere else--I can't seem to find anything on Tribeca installs that fit what I'm looking for, or posts online that have the same info I have regarding my wire colors. Thanks in advance all--

I think I need to upgrade my 08 impreza head unit, but I am not sure what I want to get yet. I need something with a screen for a backup camera and a good built in amplifier.

Default 2013 Impreza sti radio upgrade

Hi, I'm new here. I have a 2013 Impreza sti with a base head unit and was looking for some info. I would like to up grade to a navigation head unit and still have all the functions, steering wheel controls, Bluetooth etc. so the research I've done I need a stock part# 86271fg620 can I use a stock part# 86271sg690. Or should I go aftermarket and if so can I still keep all the same functions that it has now. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I have a 2013 Impreza Sedan Base model. The speakers are pretty horrible at high volumes (metalheads listen to very high volumes 99.9% of the time, we cannot help it).

I was looking on crutchfield and trying to find the right combination of speakers and head unit.

I cannot understand or find what kind of wattage the stock Subaru head unit outputs. And it is my understanding that the more watts the head unit is capable of outputting the better the higher quality speakers will sound.

I want to know if I get new speakers that the quality will greatly increase with the stock radio/head unit or will I have to buy a new head unit to get the most out of the new speakers?

Any and all help or advice is welcomed!!
