Default HID Group Buy

Who would be interested in a HID group buy? Price would be around $360 shipped. I'll post more details later.

***EDIT***

These HID conversion kits are Hella/Phillips and are available in the following bulb types:

H1, H3, H4, H7, 9004, 9005, 9006 and 9007

6000k color(blue)

Group Buy price will be $360 and will close on October 18th, 2002.

That's why I'm ordering H1s. You can modify your stock housing to fit the H1s.

I'll update the first post with info that I posted on www.akdsm.com.

Is this an Alaskan I-club exclusive? I would definitely be interested in this (and quite possibly a few friends of mine, three basically for sure), but I'm (we're) down in California.

WRXnFX1974 -- if you would, shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] and tell me weather or not we can join in on your group buy. Thanks!

Alaskan's get screwed on shipping. I'm trying to keep this in Alaska and shipping to one address for local pick up. We'll see how participation goes and decide from there.

I just saw a set of JDM headlights go for $745 on eBay. Try the classifieds on this website, too.

Actually the glare you dont see they are hotspots and Its unlikely you will see them driving unless you pull into housing and start lighting up windows

The WRX uses dual filament bulbs 9007(HB5), I think that's the right numbers, and H3s for the fogs. By the way, you will lose your high beams with the stock housing.

These lights will work with any aftermarket light that accepts these bulb types:

H1, H3, H4, H7, 9004, 9005, 9006 and 9007

This is a complete kit with bulbs and ignitor ballasts.

Believe the Morettes use the H7 for the low beam projector lens, and the H1 for open high beam reflector. The H7 is a common size in Europe, but not found much in the US.

I dont think they are interchangeable cause the h1 bulb is different than the h7 in size and locking pin.

Plus keep it where it should it was meant for the low beam so chances are the design is different cause the bulb is bigger.
