More than 6 go in a large flat rate for $14.50. Apparently shipping is not an exact science , so my site may figure stuff in that range wrong. Don't worry, just place the order, and I will take care of you.

Well I just placed an order an order for the sample pack. Really looking forward to it. I have been playing around with a Chemex, and my grinder and just having fun with coffee. But I am looking forward to trying some awesome stuff.

Did not place an order, but did open a new bag of WCR Ethiopian today from the freezer. Just like the day it was roasted.

Been trying different pourover coffees lately from the coffee shops in my area (SF Bay Area) since I'm trying to find the type of beans I like, but I can't get over the burnt taste from some of these beans...
Is there anything I should look for in terms of beans or flavors that would provide me with a less burnt taste? If that makes sense? Or are they all pretty much going to taste like that? |

Do what many of us have done and order Poison's sampler pack to make coffee at home. His beans are roasted properly, not burnt. |

I forget that the West coast has actual good coffee. We lack good coffee here on the East coast, hence why I order from Poison. |

I'll admit there are a few scattered places, but if I'm going to have to order anyways I just go with Nate. Most of these shops roast big batches that sit for a while. Nate roasts to order, which seems to me to be the biggest difference.

I agree with you. I've tried a handful of places between Providence and Boston. Most aren't up to par. Coffee exchange roasts darker than I usually like but the last time I rolled in every batch was only a day or two old. I'll take Nates beans any day over them, but they are still a viable option that is local to me.
Speaking of Nate... how much more of the CoE is left? Can I hold out until Dec 15-16 to order? |

If I ever decided to quit my day job to open a coffee shop, I'm signing a deal with Nate to carry his roasts.

Poison, what's your best everyday drip currently? I'm looking at the Yirgacheffe or the Pedregal.... How strong does the blueberry come through? The one receiving this tends to go more dark/chocolate flavored in nature so I'm thinking the Pedregal might be better...

Hey Nate, have you ever heard of the ZPM Nocturn? It was a Kickstarter project that I stumbled on when browsing the internets. The idea was to bring commercial grade temperature and pressure control to a affordably priced home espresso machine.
They successfully got their Kickstarter funding almost a year ago, but it just says "available for preorder" on their web shop. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...presso-machine http://zpmespresso.myshopify.com/ They've got prototype testing vids on their youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/zpmespresso Looks pretty awesome, if they can actually mass produce it and sell it for $350 |

Cool? Hell yeah... If they can pull it off, with good results. If they do, it would shake up the industry. I suspect failure though.

And all the coffees in sf were too dark roasted for my taste. Trying to find a light roast outside of Starbucks blonde was not possible. |
