Original I had ordered a paint kit from paintscratch.com, than I wrapped it with the rest of the car.

You can but you cant. The WRX bars will hit the exhaust.

I haven't looked into headers in quite some time. yes legacy and impreza headers are the same for the 2.5i. I know Inferno Fabrication is making bolt on headers but they aren't >$500. your best bet is to find used wrx/sti headers and find an exhaust shop that will cut/weld/modify them to fit.

Well here's a long due picture update. Most of these have been posted on Instagram (same user name), i figured I may as well update the thread as well.

I wrapped the car yellow last May to change things up. Add on blaze blue dipped wheels and we have: the Minion, Spoon Motorsports Impreza, Twinkie, Magic School Bus, Banana, Lego Man, etc. The list of names my car has been called goes on an on.

I've been trying to make it once a year. About a 12 hour drive for me to get there, but it's well worth it!

I live 2 hrs from it and only go once a year as well. Maybe one year we'll bump into each other.

Man, Ok Mr. Duv...

What kind of work are we talking about here to make this 08 sti front bumper cover work? Is the sti impact bar needed?

I'm sure there is tons of cutting involved but I'm pretty determined to make it work. Your subi is amazing! And that bumper looks so good on the narrow. I'm just looking to get all the tips for pieces needed to be bought along with the bumper cover. Hopefully I can get away with just using a dremmel 0_0

I posted some pictures and descriptions in post #159 in this thread:
https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...&postcount=159

Here's my Photo album, which shows the fitment before any cutting, where the cuts were made, and the products used.
https://flic.kr/s/aHsjYkXA8o

The cutting isn't the difficult part. It's bonding the pieces together in such a way that they are structurally sound, yet flexible to bend with the bumper as it flexes under driving conditions and bumps from snow/dirt.

The factory crash bar remains unchanged.

That's some hard work right there, well beyond my experience. Congrats to you man. I may go with the Albero front bumper after seeing the work needed, pretty intensive lol. I suppose if I ever somehow come across a really cheap 08sti front bumper only then I could go for it.
