Vin went from the afterthought of Saving Private Ryan and Boiler Room (both respectable movies) to cheesy action flick guy who's movies still get greenlit. His Riddick work lies somewhere between there. Either way I enjoy all 5'7" of him whenever they prop him up on a stool for a movie.

True that. That game was a lot of fun.

Speculation is that he uses various forms of trickery. And directors use the right angles in shooting him. There's no way he's 6 foot. He just can't be.

That's not very tall for freak of nature action stars who usually tower over everybody else, but it's still six feet tall.

He is 45 though, try making fun of him for being so old and fat.

I am probably the only here who liked "The Pacifier".
"Once upon a time, there was a family of elves and one day the little elf family went into the magic forest to look for a secret gnome facility. The gnomes were turning mushrooms into uranium, so three of the elves laid down heavy suppressive fire on the gnomes while the others manoeuvered around to the right flank, killing all those left alive. "

Plus, Bad Santa's Laurne Graham! I can fap to that!

In an odd, perverse way, I hate and love XXX at the same time. I know it's a bad movie, but whenever I catch it playing on the telly, I can't help but watch it and be entertained.

He appears to be in good shape for a 25 year old actually. I just feel like there is some Tom Cruise tomfoolery going on. Either way I'll definitely catch Riddick.

I agree that he does look kinda short, but it's just because everybody else is so tall. That's Dwayne Johnson at the top of the page, right? He's 6' 5".

According to the Googles, he is 6'. Now this could be like a high school football program where everyone is three inches taller and 20 pounds heavier.

Really? I don't believe it.
A few years back my roommate's girlfriend was doing some modeling stuff in NY and while she was there she met Vin Diesel. He kept buying her stuff and got kind of creepy. However, she did take a few pics with him. She's about 5'7"-5'8" and he was a few inches taller than her.

Debut trailer is out

Looks better than Chronicles but also looks too much like Pitch Black. I like Pitch Black but this story better tell a story that is slightly different.

So much better when he was an escaped convict fighting dino-vamps. And he's back doing just that! WOOT!

Kill the Riddick!

I'll see it, but as much as I liked Pitch Black, I liked Chronicles more.

I've heard similar things about him.

Also, yeah, I'm in for the movie.

With a last name like that, I bet she was popular in high school. The comic material from that is....well....a lot!

Agreed on all three. Pitch Black was great for what it was, but Chronicles had a real vision, a real "universe" to play in. As stoked as I am about another Riddick, I am a bit disappointed they are not continuing with him ruling the Necromongers. Did Chronicles do that poorly that they are going back to Pitch Black redux? I mean, they even have Starbuck in it like they had the brunette Farscape/Stargate chick.

Well, Karl Urban is listed as part of the cast on the IMDB page. Now, will it be a short cameo like Keith David's role reprisal in Chronicles? Maybe.

Has Kara, don't care how good it is, will watch. About damn time she's in a movie!

On the other hand, it looks like it's got WAY too much CGI, though.

Oh man, don't bring up Karl Urban. Dredd reboot was so damn good but did so poorly I don't think thy will do another.

On topic, I suspect they will have a short intro or ending where they tie in with the Necromongers. Maybe he told 'em he had unfinished business on that planet (revenge for the PB pilot not being saved?). That or he ditches the Necromongers and they hire mercs to look for him while they jerk off somewhere else.

"Don't know about this new crew of yours. They seem a bit skittish. Probably shouldn't tell 'em what happened to the last crew."

I saw a commerical for a new show coming to Fox this Fall staring Urban. Looked pretty good...so it will be canned in a week.
