Default Is there a big difference between the Vishnu Stage 1 & 2?

I'm considering a Stage 2 but how big a difference is there between 1 & 2? Is it worth the 2000+ difference?

With stage II you add a VF30 or VF34 Turbo upgrade, Sti injectors 530cc (stock are 440cc) and Fuel pump. That's were the 2g diffrence is.

It's a great combo and makes a lot of usable power with peak 16.5 boost. Very safe boost level and well tested Vishnu ECU maps.

Thanks.

I know that ST 2 has those parts, but my question was from a performance point of view. Is there such a huge leap in performance that would justify the 2k?

Also, since you mentioned safety and ECU maps, I know that having the car dyno tuned is the right thing to do but since I don't really have the right shops next to me it's not really an option.

How well do their pre-programmed Unichips work compared to a custom tuned one?

think about it bigger turbo=bigger power, so to answer your question (ooh yeah). don't know about the extra 2k cause you can group buy the needed parts to convert your stage 1 to 2 cheaper now. then just giving shiv and company to remap your chip to your new found parts from their pre-programmed maps.

pre-program vs tuned=of course a tuned chip will always be better for YOUR car cause every engine will run slightly different. so yes again to your question, a tuned for your car chip will be better than one pre-programed using another car.

Vishnu is now the leader of ECUtek stock ecu reprogramming in the US. With the stock ECU it will tune it self out with Ing. advance and whitch will be very close to max safe HP you can get. even with out a dyno tune. I see your in FL, so I would also spend the Dow on a TMIC upgrade as well.

I have been running a stg 2 but with a bpm exhaust and gfb pulleys and no probs at all. I have had no signs of knock on my knock link so far...although on occasion I do feel timing being pulled by the computer. Like everyone else has said much more air & fuel to your motor now even at the same psi. There is a good 1/2 sec. there in the quarter to be gained now. Plus Shiv sends out his unichips with a conservative tune. Mine has not been to a dyno....he doesn't wan't anyone blowing up there motor and posting about it. Trust me it is a whole new machine w/ the vf30/34. The way I look at it is you only live once...just had to do it. Hope this helps man.

Thanks for the replies guys

so it's been decided. Stage 2 with ECUtek I'll have to see for the TMIC, it's kinda expensive

Power baby, POWER!!!
