Default Spotted in Missouri

Where are all the Missouri WRX drivers?

I spotted a 2007 STI Urban Gray Mettalic with after market exhaust, tint and a couple stickers in the window in St. Charles on HWY 370 this morning.

No other Missouri Sightings?

Spotted 2006/2007 blue STI with gold BBS parked near Schnucks at Mexico and Mid-Rivers.

Most of the MO Guys hang out on stlsubaru.com

But I saw a really nice looking red WRX (04-05) sedan on HWY5 just coming out of Camdenton yesterday, sounded like he was getting on it trying to pass someone..

I've been trying to get on the STL Subaru site. I registered a while ago but they have never sent me an activation email.

Saw a 2006/2007 black STI headed west on 370 this morning.

Used to be my buddy's car before he sold it and bought my old 06 Evo 9 MR .
That cars rings were shot.

If anyone comes down to the lake, me and the crew are always down to cruise the strip or Osage beach.

Yeah I was always disappointed that MWSOC doesn't have much rep from MO. I joined up on STLsubaru and KCsubaru though. They seem to have a good group of regulars.

Thanks Kevin!
We are definitely picking up and becoming more active and we have some solid plans and good ideas for 2013
.
We'll be doing cruises every month like we have since October and some install days, group activites, bbqs, and some other stuff. So stay tuned to StlSubaru.com and I'll try and remember to update this thing too along with Facebook for those that are on there.

@Jschell1309 I'm working with an 'events agent' that I used to go to high school with to see what's up coming as far as charity car shows and if a group of BA looking Subarus can be of any help to her in her event planning for other clients.

I'm pretty excited to see such a rapid growth and involvement from the Subie community in STL. I was nervous for a while there because it seemed like a cruise or meet only occurred every few months so I am trying to jump start everything and get more participation again. Hopefully we can coordinate a BIG Subaru meet involving KC Subaru, STL Subaru, and Chicago Subaru. I'm still working on first finding a place that we would fit and make it worth everyone's time. Once I find that I will get in contact with those groups. Stay tuned.

Well install days were always a huge hit in NC we always had a good time doing some wrenching on cars and having a cookout. I would be more than willing to donate my garage to the cause if it comes up I know I am quite a ways out from most of you but my offer always stands and I am pretty familiar with Subaru's and most models. I primarily do subaru and diesel work at the house. I dont have all the tools but I do have enough to complete most tasks such as engine swaps trans swaps normal work.

Regarding Install Days, a couple of the guys that I have talked with mentioned the dreaded Timing Belt replacement coming up. I'm in that same boat. If someone would be able to help out with a job like that it would definitely be a major help.

I actually pulled my motor to do mine in the GC8 it sure is a lot easier with a few extra hands to ensure your cam gears dont spin and wreck a motor. We do it with three people normally one person for each head and one to pull and put on the new belt
