without the scoop the turbo charged 2litre lacks the aggressive looks that define the subaru.

I couldn't care less about the updated forester (no MT, too big, now a true SUV) however the new engine.. lets see that make it's way into the BRZ, new WRX/STi, bring the Legacy GT back to the states; sweet little motor.
Edit: forgot about the XV crosstrek, that thing would be sweet with the 2.0l turbo and a 5mt/6mt.

Those are my thoughts as well. I would never consider the Crosstrek with the current engine but the turbo option would get my attention. Hope Subaru has that in the works...

Front fascia was changed to be more aggressive than the NA version. What defines Subaru changes with each model refresh and the definition was never going to stay the same for long given how Subaru wants to do in the industry.

It needs more cowbell, no I mean scoop. The XT has a TMIC anyway, why does it has to hide it? Maybe Subarugenuineparts will offer a different cowbell in the future.
Subaru is a quirky brand, please stay quirky Subaru. Remember the 08 impreza? and the subsequent campaign about anti blandness? Yes, I like how the XT looks for the most part, but I miss the scoop. Many "sporty" cars wish for a scoop, why deprive the XT from its functional hood?

Stay quirky San Diego

Would be interested to see if an upgraded version of that engine make its way into the next Legacy GT. Also will have fingers crossed that said Legacy GT also comes in a wagon variant, with a manual.

It may seem like I'm asking for too much, but think about it. Audi, BMW, and Volvo have no fast wagons in the US right now. The timing would be impeccable.

Default Test driving one today

I will be testing an XT touring today. I'm going to buy one if I like it more than that NA 2014 Forester.

Need to sell my 08 Impreza first tho

I'd love to see and drive that thing lowered on a wrx sti suspension or on some coil overs with end links and the works to tighten the suspension. I would bet it would be totally freaking awesome then. With the horsepower that it has it is hard to believe 23 city 28 highway. I would think it would be more like 18 city 21 highway.
