Default Tri-state subie couples

For those who have boyfriends, girlfriends, married, or engaged, my question to you is does your significant other have a subie or is a subie enthusiast like you?

I came up with this question just a few min ago when I heard my boyfriend 07 STI Limited coming up the drive way. I'm not sure if I am more excited that he is home or that I hear and see the Subie in the court yard. I have an 09 WRX Wagon and we both mod our cars the same way at the same time. We already did Cobb and Hawk brake pads.

Is there anyone else out there on Tri-state NASIOC that shares what I share with my bf Steven?

Tell of your Subaru love and post pics!

My wife has always been jealous of my Subies because they take attention away from her! lol But at the same time she is proud of them too. It's a strange dynamic.

That white one was one we sold to somebody a while ago. If you look even further you can see my bro in laws OBS across the street. There are so many subies around here. My whole family except my sister drives one. And a lot of the neighbors drive them.

ha ha so funny. Nothing is better than a Subie Mitsu competition. Do you guys track them and see who is faster or argue about which mods are better?

Steve and I like to argue about suspension mods vs being faster. I think if you are going to be faster you have to handle. I believe with every up in horse power (stage 1, stage 2, etc.) there needs to be a mod in the suspension (handling) and the ability to stop (i.e Brembos). Also I think being able to handle better can equal being faster (in certin situations, road racing). He thinks its not nessary to upgrade suspension when getting faster.

if you want to see the vids from that day you could find them at LiveRaceCam.com the guy Roger is cool. I've been sick all week and am starting to feel better. I want to get back out on the track.

A few weeks ago I was on the new Monticello Race track. Around 4.1 miles of track with i think over 15 different configurations or something (correct me if im wrong) but I went out in Steves STI, it was soooo much fun. Even the poconos is super fun.

I'd definitely be doing some sabotaging. If I can't have it, no one can. Especially under those circumstances.

I'm trying to convince the girlfriend to get a Forester. She has a turbo-4 now but unfortunately it's a VW.
