so FWD flywheels are different from AWD flywheels right? are you able to use a AWD for a FWD car? does this mean you'll need a AWD clutch ? I have a JDM EJ20G clutch and flywheel. would this set up work in a FWD impreza? what throw out bearing should be used? if it even works...

Negative.

One major difference; the input shaft or whatever that the TO bearing goes over. The FWD one has a smaller diameter, so you wouldn't be able to use the AWD clutch disk, and then the FWD clutch disk has a smaller diameter.

No, the piece in the center of the clutch with the teeth is a different size between the FWD and AWD.

Yeah, but the disks have a different diameter because the pressure plates also cover a different area, so one disk won't work with the other pressure plate.

Clutches are cheap, get the right parts... as much fun as tearing the transmission back out again is...
