You'll probably never hear of an oil pan breaking on a Subaru from being low. The frame sits lower than the oil pan on our cars so you'll bang frame long before you get to the oil pan. As for the side skirts, I've been rolling pretty low for the last three years and have only lost one side skirt. That's was from all the bouncing on I5 (for those who know this stretch of freeway in Wa). You'll lose plenty of lips but it's all party of being low. It's not for everyone. Reference for my height. It's still static and little lower now.

02/03 have a weird split in break differences (early 02-early 03 and late 03-05) so instead of ****ing around and having the chance I ordered the wrong break stuff I just replaced it all with a solid OEM upgrade.

What makes a wheel a "VW" wheel? the company that sells it?

Yes.

And as for the Fender to lip debate, I felt like I was close but Sam does take the award for that. He also doesn't drive the car everyday. But our QP's aren't super thin like most VW's so unless you are doing tons of body work to cut out the insides it wont work.. Ask me how I know..

Static days.

people that come here to talk smack or just to be like "i dont understand" need to just hold your feelings inside.. cause the wheel battles can never be won.. the same way guys talk trash about building anything.. some like it stock some like it low some like it slow some like it fast.... people post to show their projects and things they do or try out... just cause u dont like it doest mean i want to know how u feel about it. opinions mean nothing so why bother.. i feel they do it just to push buttons.. and half the time its someone with a monster truck stock ass car with a catback... and no one says anything about their rides... just stay in your lane. if u dont like it move on.. me, im a true car lover and i can relate to any mod a person does just cause i wouldnt do it doesnt mean i have to bash it... who is anybody to force feed anyone about thats wrong this and that.. same way guys take a 1st gen rx7 and put a chevy small block in it... lol same thing..

You guys act like Tay hasn't been killing the static game since ever! lol

Not to bring up this ancient ass photo set, but like Kyle said- getting fender inbetween rim/tire is hard on a Subaru. I know Abbitt Has done it, and I think Kyle too now that he's on air.
But this was as close as I ever got (and this was jumping up and down in the trunk/backseat).

You mean wheels other than Rotas and XD9's?
Euro styling on Subaru's is awesome IMO.

On that "VW" or other car make idea...

I'm really digging these 1552 TurboMacs. 18x9 +55 as pictured so they'd look nice in a lower offset.

I actually like those. Would be different to see them on a Subaru.

Tired of seeing the same things lol people need to try to stand out.
