Default Bought a 240sx and am looking for stuff....

Allright, I know someone here either knows about these cars, or knows someone who does. I just need help in finding some conversion parts that are cheaper than what I have been getting quoted by suppliers. Any help would be great!

'93 240sx coupe w/ka24de dohc 16v motor

I am looking for an s13 cody conversion kit with either no front bumper or a damaged front bumper. Lights and fenders need to be in good shape. Also looking for twin turbo 300z front 4piston brake calipers and lines. Rotors not needed. And finally a rear lsd diff.

I know this stuff is all over the net, but what I am hoping for is someone knows someone who has some of this stuff and is looking to sell it. The 240 was a popular car and several have mods.

Thanks again,
Ron

I don't know where you live around, but Don Nimi at PDM racing is the guru when it comes to everything 240sx. I'm not sure if you have gone to www.240sx.org or www.freshalloy.com but try those first for info and then go to Don Nimi's website @ PDM Racing He used to frequent the 240sx.org's mail list and also the freshalloy forums. He has the 300zx brake upgrade and he has gotten the LSD's from Japan before and also from the Canadian 240's that had LSD. There is also SRSwap.com located on the East Coast. They were getting shipments of LSD's in from Asia for the 240sx. As far as the body parts for converting to the silvia body, which is what i am guessing you are trying to find... (S13 is the frame designation for US and Japan) I have no idea other than going to those forums listed above and searching around. Good luck! Also, you might want to list where you are located at.

Thanks!! Those are pretty good sites. I've been to most of the ordinary ones already, but didn't know about the others.

I believe JDM Spec Performance has some S13 bits for sale. I know they can also get Subaru drivetrains/bits.

They're located in the western suburbs of Chicago. I know a Honda guy that gets his stuff from there and his car is niiiiice.

some of the 240 guys hang out at www.club4ag.com too

even though it's mostly a Toyota site, it's probably the premiere site where people go that are into drifting

Good luck with your 240sx, I miss mine

jspec.com carries a lot of hard to find items. I bought quite a few parts from Enjuku Racing. I think there site is enjukuracing.com
They are great guys, very reliable.

Enjoy,
Brandt

I carry tons of stuff for the Sylvia motor but not used parts. If you do a swap let me know. I can help you with the engine and driveline stuff.

my best friend who went to wyotec is the mac at 240sx's there is no one who is better on working on these cars than this kid. He has a 90 and took the 12v out and built up the 16v out of a 95 it has j.e. coated pistons 7:1 compression with a big garret t3/t4, head studs I don't know what all is done to this this thing but I know everything on the inside of the engine is new. It ran low 13's with 12psi on street tires he's waiting on some 600cc or bigger injectors to pump the boost up to 20 psi and watch it run low 12's or 11's the body is trash and none of the body panes are the same color though it looks like it wouldn't even make it a quarter mile wait till the import nationals at norwalk raceway this thing will be sweet.
