oem coolant temp gauge not working...
hello all...
the saga of my indiglo gauge install continues...all was done...speedo finally working...etc. And now the coolant temp gauge doesn't work. Doesn't go anywhere at all after I installed the indiglo gauge overlay. The fit wasn't exact...meaning the could be a slight bit of pressure exerted on the black cap over the shaft going to the needle. I checked the connections twice, seems tight. I can't think of anything else at the moment. Can anyone suggest problems, and or a temp fix that might allow me to drive with some sense of security until I get it working? IE...hook voltmeter up to gauge wiring to be able to tell if the gauge would be moving from its normal range or something. Where would one hook up the sensor for an aftermarker coolant temp. gauge? thanks Micum
