Lowbeams-sorry for the less than stellar pics.

Highbeams.

I hope to get some good night pictures of this setup soon. The beam pattern is great and the H9s really put out an amazing amount of light given that they are only 10 watts more than the stock H11s which are 55 watts. Again, sorry for the poor pics. I think this would be a great and cheap upgrade for anyone with these headlights who wants more light but doesn't want or can't afford HID.

Looks good, Sonny.

You should pop some HIR bulbs in the lows...they are quite impressive in their light output. I used to have them in the LGT before I got the HID's.

hmmm.... invest in some wire loom and heat shrink. It'll make your install way cleaner.
Interesting path with the pitch links to the 500's. Hard to stabilize plastic light housings.

Did a little research, and I think they only come in 9005 and 9006. That's actually kind of lame because they are so good. They actually put out light closer to HID levels then standard halogens without actually being HID's or requiring any kind of modification. Although...I still have a couple extras laying around and I just realized that they will fit in my Denali's high-beams....lol.

BTW, sorry I never got back to you on our project last week. Things got busy and I pretty much forgot about it.

Default Legacy blackout & halos

The ambers were already deleted previously. This first photo shows the chrome assembly compared to the blacked out bezel which doesn't have its lens reinstalled.

Testing the wiring for the halos.

Just the halos lit. There is a little glare as I don't have the best camera but these things are bright!

HIDs & halos all lit up.

Installed & unlit.

Hey, those look familiar....

I've got a bunch o' pictures too. One problem with a gazillion megapixel cam is resizing everything.....

Can't wait to see the finished results!

Got some pretty cool shots of Rob's too...I'll get them to you eventually. I may just burn them all to a disc and give you the high-res shots to tinker with.

Some more shots after a top coat of JB Weld, primer and some paint.

This is a little fabric covered breather-do not paint completely over it as condensation may be the result!

1rst coat of black.

I'll put them on a disk. It's probably easier all the way around that way, anyway.

Those are looking good!! Since I got the 6-high thing done today I reeeaaally want to get HID's in the fogs ASAP now...lol. And some new HIR's for the highs. Gah...too much money for lights.

Some examples of HID projectors.
Left to right-FX-R bi xenon,TSX single xenon,Bosch ECE also called the E46 which is single xenon though some E46s I've seen are bi xenon.

Top view.

The Bosch projectors will be going in an upcoming project. The TSXs are in Scotts headlights. More pics on his Yukon TSX retro soon!

Reassembled. The TSXs fit but its close-I had to do more shaving than I first anticipated.

Hopefully I can get some installed and night pics posted tonight!

Couple more shots.

There is some color at the cutoff even though I didn't do the color mod. For output the TSXs are hard to beat .If I did up a few of these kinds of lights I'd go with a smaller projector but the owners are happy with the results and thats all that matters to me!
