I think they switched to returnless in 2006 for many cars, A return style has 3 lines. 1 is supply, 1 is return and 1 is Evap. You can tell by going to RockAuto and looking at the fuel pump module, or.... in engine bay 3 hoses would be return style. I have no idea how to tune a returnless system but I am sure many people have done it successfully.

I disconnected the hose I thought was return and it's definitely evap, no fuel. I've had this car tuned multiple times, no one has ever mentioned returnless being an issue?

Yeah I don't think it will be much of an issue.

Hi tipsymechanic, awesome build.
I'm assuming you did engine management yourself. How did you adjust your ROM for the larger fuel injectors? Any guides anuwhere about this? I'm going to slap on a used raptor SC kit soon with wrx injectors onto an ej253 and need help since I don't have a base map. |

There’s a lot of good newbie tuning info here: https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1626520 Have you had your ECU defined yet, so it can be tuned? PM me if you need more detailed help. |

Cool. You’ll also need to re-scale the tip-in fueling, cranking tables, and a few other things fuel related

Do you have to modify the stock BPV for the lower boost?

PART 3!!
I apologize for the delay.. I got lazy/unmotivated/busy/etc.. This one isn't too exciting, just making some changes to allow the turbo inlet fitment, and turbo oil feed plumbing. |
