Think a 255-40 would work?

225/35/18?
215/35/18?

Any help is wanted

I’d say a 215/35/18.

Can anyone help me confirm wheel fitment and caliper clearance? I have a 2015 WRX with STI calipers.
I've owned a set of Konig's on another car in the past (2004 Mazdaspeed Miata) and loved them. Looking at 18" wheels in either the Dekagram or Hypergram Konig models but need help with offsets. I'm on Fortune Auto coils, ideally don't want to have to roll fenders. Anyone able to help me confirm offsets that will clear the brakes? Many thanks

Does anyone know of an alternative to the 2018 type RA wheels? I would love to find some but I haven’t stumbled across any yet.
I want to keep my wheel specs 100% stock (19x8.5 +55) but go to something forged. Any suggestions besides type RA wheels?

I would stay away from 19x8.5 +55 in my opinion. I'm currently trying to sell my Type RA wheels for that reason alone. I'm tired of running a +20mm spacer to bring the wheel flush with the fender. I highly recommend going 19x8.5 +35 to avoid using a large spacer and being flush with the fender.

I've got a VA running 265/35R18s on 18x9.5 rims with +35 offset. I am running coilovers with 10kg/mm springs, 2 degrees camber and ~3/4" lowered, and rolled fenders. The fitment is pretty tight between the fenders and the tires, but there has been no contact. I read a Tirerack review that roughly came to the conclusion that the most responsive set up is to have the rim as wide as the tire. With 265 tires, that means 10.5" rims. I'd like to get some wider rims. Has anyone tried 10.5s with high offset, maybe +45? It seems most things I'm seeing are low offset +20s, which are more of a 'stance' look than I'm going for. Is there more room on the inside?
