The decription for that lip says wrx, so yes it will fit a wrx. there is no 02-03 sti in the united states.

So why did you buy a used, modified car when you had no idea what the modifications were? Which leads me to believe you don't really know the condition of the car?

Don't know much about them but he described most of it I drove it he drove it. I've been driving it for 2 weeks no problems. Except a drunk boost gauge.

Pretty good list. Looks like they focused mired on handling than power. Chances are your tXS 2inch turbo back exhaust, is actually a 3 inch TBE.

Hopefully there is some sort of tune on it.

70% of the mods you listed are for handling. Are there any specific mods you had questions about (i.e. location, purpose, etc etc)?

what do you mean by a drunk boost gauge? its not acting right? If so, how sure are you that its the gauge and not the car/actual boost?

There is a tune, says stage2 tune loaded. Everything looks well done. Any questions on specific things?

Mm not really any questions on any. Was just curious of the quality of the upgrades. He said he's put 10k in upgrades. And I only bought the car for 9125 with a bunch of stock parts. And everything. And he has been the only owner of it. He's done most of the work himself or help from his buddy that owns a shop. Older man and you could tell he was very anal about his car.
Only 77k miles also

And the boost gauge would say I'm boosting while I'm in neutral barely accelerating. Or just starting from a stop sign its saying I'm boosting.

Essentially his boost gauge either reads nothing but vacuum or goes sporadic into boost. This is based on his 2 threads on the same subject just 2 days ago.

OP did you have the car inspected at all? That would have been the FIRST thing to do, especially when buying modded. Luckily most items listed are handling and no mods are out of Stage 2 parameters except the intake. (And depending on how old the tune is from Cobb, it may actually be when Cobb supported K&N)

One thing that I see that I would be suspect is is the "custom" wheel spacers. Essentially any wheel spacer used on these cars are bad UNLESS (well not unless, but this helps majorly) the wheel studs are the extended model. This is for insuring that enough thread grip length is present for the lug nuts. How do you know if you have extended lugs? Well without asking the previous owner, you'd kinda have to guess without taking a few things apart.

Actually have not gotten it inspected yet.. I should. But the spacers are on now but I'm having my snow tires put on as we speak and he's taking them out I'm sure.
And is that good at supported but k&n? Not sure how old the tune is
The vehicle was also the guys daily driver until the day I bought it so I'm sure It would pass no problem but good point.

I would either go get a pro/e-tune or find a stock intake and put it on. Even when it was a "supported" intake by Cobb it didn't exactly mean the tune was changed enough.

And you MIGHT need the spacers depending on the offset (not mentioned) of the wheel. If you're having the tires put on professionally, have them figure out if you need the spacers. My guess is no.

Yes the guy doing the tires is pro. He's going to do a general look around of the car up on the lift and tell me what he thinks.
Old owner also said I won't need spacers on the winters.

Looks like a real solid list for a nice well rounded WRX.

A few notes, mostly personal opinion based on facts.

I don't care for K&N filters. They give zero power, because the restriction is the stock airbox, and they don't filter as well as a paper element.

I am a Kenwood man, so I don't like the Pioneer HU

And yes that lip should work fine.

I feel you on the k&n maybe ill get a new one who knows. I just don't know what I'd need to do after I bought one like to re tune?
And the radio is a pain the neck to figure out but I got Bluetooth a little speaker thing above my steering wheel pretty cool I guess. But it works nice haha.

And thanks for the opinions this thing does hug the road very well. Really loving it

And also even though I don't know much about cars with all these extras and the shape it's In. You can't give up a deal like that. I've always wanted a wrx too. Since I saw it on "top gear"

Personally I'd never purchase a modified car unless I knew the owner well. As far as this one goes like everyone else mentioned almost everything on that list is suspension tid bits. In my eyes this is a good thing because most people that don't know how to mod a car correctly try to buy a bunch of go fast parts (usually cheap knock offs) and then drive the piss out of it sometimes untuned (or with a crappy one at best). The fact that the previous owner invested a fair amount of time/money on suspensions leads me to believe that he has an actual understanding of the car and focused on what could make it more enjoyable to drive.

Yes I was going to but a stock one but I saw some used privately all stock with like 100k miles selling for 10k$. My friend has an 07 all souped up and such with 107k miles and he paid 14k he Said I got this for a steal. And yea I'm glad he did more suspension work then anything.

I like the list of mods. How about an ETS top mount intercooler on a great holiday sale price?

oh boy... the vendor, ETS, is talking about a top-mount intercooler (aka TMIC). Ask the old geezer if he changed his or kept it stock before selling it to you

Ok lol. Not sure if I need one. But I'll ask him
Stupid question. But is that what like cools the car? So far I've had no high temperature issues at all. Just saying

And tbh not even quite sure what an Intercooler does. I'd assume cool down the motor but doesn't the radiator dothat?

A new TMIC would be able to provide colder air to the turbo, but may be more prone to heatsoak than your stock one. Getting a turbo blanket and/or heat tape would help TMIC heatsoak or you could just use a FMIC to avoid it altogether.

Intercooler has nothing to do with overheating.
